In the 2 years of doing The Holo Hookup, I think this is the first post that I didn’t have up by the 14th. I do apologize for the delay, I needed a few days to myself. Once I was kind of ready to post, work got crazy busy and I had to work 6 days this week. Then Wordpress decided it didn’t want to load photos properly.

Now I think it’s all set though. Here is The Holo Hookup February 2018 Love Connection!

The theme this month is Love Connection!

 

As always, I’ll do a quick rundown for those new to The Holo Hookup!

This is an all holographic box and each month it will have 3 constant indie makers in it – Glisten & Glow, DIFFERENT dimension and Cupcake Polish. Each month there will also be one “guest” contributor, and for February 2018 the guest maker is Beyond The Nail!

Let’s see what they have in store for us this month!

Cupcake Polish – XOXO

 

Cupcake Polish XOXO is a silver holographic loaded with iridescent flakes and pink shimmers. There are a lot of playful colors sparking off in this shade. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

 

 

 

 

 

Different Dimension – Forever

 

Different Dimension Forever is a bright fuchsia-ish pink creme based linear holographic polish. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

 

 

 

 

 

Glisten & Glow – Smooches

 

Glisten & Glow Smooches is a cherry red linear holographic with holographic micro glitters to give off extra sparks! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

 

 

 

 

Beyond The Nail – Wink

 

Beyond The Nail Wink is a gorgeous violet ultra holographic linear shade with rose pink shimmer. It has an “inner glow” that I adore. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

 

 

 

 

The Holo Hookup February 2018 Love Connection Overview

 

I actually used to watch Love Connection when I was younger. My parents would watch it and we only had 1 tv at the time, so if they watched it – we all watched it.  All 4 shades applied beautifully and I found 3 of the 4 stamp as well. The only one that didn’t was the Cupcake Polish, but that one isn’t a solid creme, so it’s expected. It still made a stunning base color.

I actually used all 4 shades for this mani below – Cupcake Polish XOXO on the pinkie and index, then I used Smooches, Wink and Forever in a gradient to stamp over a black creme.
