Boy oh boy have I been busy. I posted last week talking about our 250 gallon oil tank that needed to be replaced, and it put me out of commission for a few days because it was a process. Since then I have been busting my tush to catch up – and I’m just about there. Over the next few days I’ll have this post – the Hella Handmade Creations September 2021 offerings, Polished Gamers, Fandom Flakies, LynBDesigns, Rogue Lacquer, Nvr Enuff Polish, Scofflaw Varnish, Little Box Of Horrors and Jreine. There’s more – and I’ve been swatching away – so be ready. Apparently everyone is pushing out their Fall collections over the next 2 weeks and I am ready. Kind of. Still catching up but basically on time.

Okay so… right now I have 17 items and an 18th arrived today. My Rogue Lacquer swatch pack somehow went to Puerto Rico for 2 weeks and arrived today. In it was the September HHC – so I will be swatching that one tomorrow and popping it into the post.

For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce . I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues, Sweet & Sour Lacquer gifted me their Gloss Sauce.

I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I get the most done at night, so I swatch a lot at night. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Your Mom

Theme: Ghost Adventurers

Description: Your Mom is an interesting base color. It’s a greyed out army green, but in some lights it looks more green, others more grey. It’s a creme base with glowy blurple to purple to red shifting shimmer.

Theme: Beautiful Birds from Around the World – September is Crows

Description: There’s Some Crows in the House is a black jelly base with a shattered holo micro flecks and a red to pink shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Little Anya is a teal (hot) to a blackened teal (cold) crelly based thermal thermal with a mix of gold UCC, metallic and iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish | Jolene

Theme: Dolly Parton

Description: Jolene is a plum purple jelly base with blue to pink iridescent shimmer and blue iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The base color is more plummy in person, my photos make it look more magenta than it is.

Theme: Disney Parks

Description: Ignite The Spark is a slightly dusty indigo jelly base with orange, yellow, aqua and blue glass flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cuticula Nail Care | Quenched

Theme:

Description: Quenched is a glitter/texture smoothing topper. I wouldn’t full on call it a top coat, it’s like the middle of a cookie sandwich. You lay done the base polish (I used ORLY Hits The Spot in the below photos), then add a coat of Quenched and that works to fill in the nooks and crannies and even everything out. Once Quenched dries, you go back in with top coat for that final smooth, glassy finish.

Below you will see 3 photos in a set. The first photo is 2 coats of a glitter polish (ORLY Hits The Spot), second photo is the same base with Quenched, and the third photo is the previous 2 but with Limitless Top Coat over it.

Description: I’d Die For Klaus is super shifty magnetic multichrome! This is a blue base loaded with turquoise micro glitter, as well as turquoise to blue to pink to purple magnetic pigment. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I left the index and pinky alone and only magnetized the middle and ring.

I only magnetized 2 nails so you can see them both ways.

My photos came out a touch warmer than it is in person.

Hella Handmade Creations | September 2021

I really think I got a good mix this month. Nice variation of color, effects and finishes. I did receive the Rogue Lacquer just a bit ago – so when swatched – I’ll pop it in.

Overall – I had no issues with any of these shades.
