This is going to be a busy week! We have a ton of releases coming at us from the 10th through the 14th… so I was working away all weekend. First up this week, we’re going to look at 6 of the offerings that will be available in the Hella Handmade Creations September 2020 shop!

For Septembers shop I have 6 shades to share – and it’s a nice assortment of color going on. We have 2 polishes from By Vanessa Molina (a topper and a glitter crelly), Cuticula, Girly Bits, Great Lakes Lacquers and LynBDesigns.

Lets jump in and take a look, the September shop will be open from the 14th through the 21st. The site is up for previewing – so be sure to poke around and see what they have to offer!

Theme: My Little Pony Equestria Girl 

Description: Princess Celestial is a crelly white base with holographic small hex glitters in turquoise, small hex glitters in gold and fuchsia, as well as micro glitters in turquoise, blue and fuchsia. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This might have a very mild texture when dry, depending on how much glittery goodness you pick up. I only had a tiny bit of texture, and 1 coat of top coat smoothed it over just fine.

Theme: My Little Pony Equestria Girl 

Description: My understanding is that this topper is only available as a duo with Princess Celestial (shown above) – so you can buy Princess Celestial alone, or as a duo with this shade – so the price will reflect that. However – to show this polish, I did it with a deep, vampy creme base.

Silver Spoon is a top coat with holographic silver microglitters mixed in. I used 1 coat over a vampy burgundy for these photos.

Again – this is available as a duo with Princess Celestial shown above.

Cuticula | Atlanna

Theme: Aquaman

Description: Atlanna is a nice mix of sky blue and turquoise. It’s not quite as soft as sky blue and has that tinge of green to push it into turquoise. The base is a crelly formula and is loaded with various shifting iridescent flakes, shifting chrome chameleon flakes, and silver platinum flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Due to flake content – this will have some texture. You might need 2 coats of top coat OR if you have some handy dandy glitter filler topper that has been coming out – that would work too.

I did use thin coats for my photos, so the texture was only slight.

Girly Bits Cosmetics | I’ve Missed CN You

Theme: Canadian Road Trip

Description: I’ll Be CN You is a plummy brown jelly base with orange to copper to pink to gold iridescent shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The first coat was sheerer than I expected, and it’s possible if you have really opaque free edge that you might see some VNL through it.

Great Lakes Lacquer | The Dancing Dragon

Theme: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Description: The Dancing Dragon is a pastel yellow multichrome shimmer that shifts gold to green to blue to purple at extreme angles. I saw some violet purple goodness in person, but couldn’t capture it on camera.. but I did get some green and blue. This is a delicate shade, and usually I cannot pull off yellows – but this is a nice yellow that even my cool toned skin adored (and no lobster fingers!)

3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

LynBDesigns | What A Dinosaur Would Do

Theme: Friends

Description: What A Dinosaur Would Do is a sky blue crelly base loaded with pink to orange shifting shimmer and aqua to purple to pink shifting flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The pink shimmer is a bit stronger in person and gives a nice glowy effect to this shade.

Hella Handmade Creations | September 2020

We’re going into Fall but set I received primarily gives me winter to spring vibes. Maybe late summer which is fitting, but I do kind of like the airy shades. Nice break from the super brights and the super Fall vibe shades.

I had no issues with application on any of these 6 shades.
