It feels like it was just the September HHC shop! Tonight we’re looking at 30 items that are in the Hella Handmade Creations shop for October 2024!
It was another big month since there were some Holiday Duos and Charity Polish involved – so check out the video below to see all 30 items applied or demonstrated!
For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached
I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830)
I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased.. and that’s an affiliate link). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Alchemy Lacquers | Blueberry Muffin
Theme: Alchemy Lacquers continues with their fourth polish in their ‘Strawberry Shortcake Dolls’ series!
Description: Blueberry Muffin is a periwinkle blue crelly with cyan to blue to purple shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

All Mixed Up Lacquers | Workin’ 9 to 5
Theme: All Mixed Up Lacquers continues their ‘My Maker’s Playlist’ (music they listen while mixing polish) series with a polish inspired a song from Dolly Parton!
Description: Workin’ 9 to 5 has a pinkish coral jelly base with large heavy gold shimmers and sprinkling of holographic micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Atomic Polish | Mysterium
Theme:Atomic Polish continues their ‘Board Game’ series with a polish inspired by Mysterium!
Description: Mysterium is a vivid blue jelly base with aurora pigment that shifts green to blue and flakes that shift from green to blue. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is a bit darker in person.

BCB Lacquers | Cuticle Oil “Bacchus Spirit”
Theme:
Description: BCB Lacquers brings us a 6ml Cuticle Oil brush pen with a twist off cap and clicky bottom.
“Bacchus Spirit” cuticle oil has scent notes of: Apple, Raspberry, Champagne, Lily, Jasmine, Peach and Sugar.
This smells so good! My nose picks up the floral scents a bit stronger than the fruity ones – but it has a nice, sweet floral thing going on.

Description: Rosey is a clear to black jelly based thermal with silver and light blue holographic glitter in various shapes and sizes and silver micro shreds. I used 3 thin coats and a glitter smoother and glossy top coat for these photos.
The “clear” state is more of a slightly milky clearish color.

Zombie Claw | Chemical Xtreme
Theme: Zombie Claw continues their ‘Powerpuff Girls’ series with a polish inspired by Chemical X!
Description: Chemical Xtreme is a sheer brown jelly base with electric blue shimmer that glows blue in the dark. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This polish was a little thick – I’m assuming due to the jelly consistency with added GITD pigment. But it didn’t self level very easily for me.
