Happy Friday! I have a LOT of content making it’s way here. After our flu that swept through – my CFS kicked in and .. I was just exhausted. Work also had me spinning so it was just a rough month physically for me. But I’m finally snapping out of it and here we go! I have 17 Hella Handmade Creations goodies to share today for the October 2023 shop!
Even though we’re in Fall – this set feels very winter to spring transition to me? Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know but that’s how i feel looking at this collage especially.

This month brings yet another great assortment of colors.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce . I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues, Sweet & Sour Lacquer gifted me their Gloss Sauce.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
And lastly – I do use artificial gel nails that I do myself at home. In this post (and video) I am using Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto.

Alchemy Lacquers | Frozen Wasteland
Theme: Nothing but icy vistas as far as the eye can see for the frozen wasteland of a planet Hoth. With only Tauntauns and Wampas native to the planet’s surface, the only other life came from the Rebels hiding out in Echo Base during the Galactic Civil War.
Description: Frozen Wasteland is a thermal polish that shifts from a medium bright blue (cold) to silvery white (warm) that is packed with red to gold to orange to green shifting shimmer and holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This had a very mild texture but I found top coat smoothed it just fine.

Red Eyed Lacquer | Look Up To The Cosmos Da Balm-er (PAID PR)
Theme: Birth Month Flowers
Description: Da Balm-er is a cross between a balm and body butter. It’s creamy like a body butter but has a more emollient feel like a balm would. It’s an intensive treatment you can use anywhere (I love it on cuticles of course) but a little goes a long way. If you use too much – it will feel very oily (like a balm would) so start with a little and build up if you need more.
The October scent is Look up To The Cosmos and it’s White Peach Prosecco! It smells exactly like you’d expect – that light clean peach scent and prosecco.
