Time is flying by, but at the same time it feels like it’s moving really slowly. My monthly posts are what are mostly keeping me in check as to where we are in the month. It’s weird sometimes, but lately I know it’s mid month because of HHC. I know it’s the early part of the month when I do Fandom Flakies, and end of month when Polish Pickup posts go up. While I’m still getting out of the house for work, the whole Shelter In Place thing is messing with my time frames a little.

Anyways – tonight we’re looking at a few offerings from the Hella Handmade Creations May 2020 Shop!

I have 5 polishes to share this month and it’s a nice mix of color. Last month my post was very red/pink heavy – so a mix makes a nice change for that.

Let’s get this going! Shop will open tomorrow (14th) and remain open until the 21st.

Ethereal Lacquer | Artemis

Theme: Greek Mythology

Description: Artemis is a pale indigo jelly base loaded with red to copper to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

While the base is on the sheerer side, this polish highly depends on the shimmer content for opacity. However, if you have opaque free edge – you will most likely still see visible nail line.

Heather’s Hues | I Don’t Talk Trash, I Talk Smack

Theme: The Office

Description: I Don’t Talk Trash, I Talk Smack is a bright fuchsia pink with pink to gold shimmer, iridescent pink to orange to gold flakes, pink and violet holo micro shreds and holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is a touch more purple leaning in person.

LynBDesigns | Miss Chanandler Bong (Thermal)

Theme: Friends

Description: Miss Chanandler Bong is a purple (cold) to teal (hot) thermal loaded with red to gold shifting iridescent flakes and holo micro flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is so sparkly in person!

Necessary Evil Polish | This Is Not War, This is Pest Control!

Theme: Doctor Who

Description: This Is Not War, This Is Pest Control! is a pale rose gold linear holographic with strong, pale gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because of the lighting, the gold shimmer is bumped up, but in person you get more of the underlying rose gold base.

Night Owl Lacquer | What A Dillhole

Theme: That 70’s Show

Description: What A Dillhole is a dark navy blue jelly base with red to copper to gold multichrome shimmer with ultra chrome chameleon flakes with the same color shifts. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is a jelly base, but the amount of shimmer masks the jelly look and does help it reach opacity easily.

A lovely mix of color and finishes! I had no application issues with any of these polishes and you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
