How is it time for Hella Handmade Creations again already?! This year is just flying by so fast! Today I have 32 offerings for the June 2024 shop to share!
So this month HHC will have some extra offerings for Pride month! Several makers created polishes specifically for Pride and those polishes will benefit different charities. For each Pride offering, I will list the charity associated with it and how much of the purchase will go towards that (if that information is available)I am having some issues with video, so that will hopefully come before shop closes… but it might be cutting it close
For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached
I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830)
I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased.. and that’s an affiliate link). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

This is a deeper shade in person. The camera mutes it a bit and softens the color and it’s difficult to color correct to the right one.

BCB Lacquers | Cuticle Oil in Extraterrestrial Seas
Theme: Mythological Creatures
Description: This cuticle oil has a screw top, doe foot applicator which makes application a cinch.
The scent description is Bergamot, Neroli, Jasmine, Persimmon, Patchouli and Tangerine.
To my nose, I pick up the bergamot, tangerine and a hint of jasmine. The bergamot and tangerine are the stronger of the fragrances to me though. It’s a nice citrusy floral like scent.

I only magnetized the middle and ring nails so you can see this polish both ways.

The description from the maker says the base is a green tinted base, but it was very blue on me.
Also the middle finger “wrinkle” pattern was my applying a second top coat on accident and the first wasn’t partially dry. There is a slight brush stroke visibility in this polish due to shimmer, but that middle nail is 100% my fault and not polish application
