How is the year half over already? My son is about to complete his first year of high school on the 21st of June. I started blogging when he was in Kindergarten… basically before he was taller than me. For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m only 5’2″ and by the time my son was in 3rd grade, he was my height. Now he’s 15 and 6’1″. His pediatrician guesstimated he would be 6’4″ to 6’6″ when done growing. Anyways… hard to believe we’re halfway to 2022.

Tonight I have 17 polishes from the Hella Handmade Creations June 2021 shop to share!

Lots of purple and grey dominating this month – two of my all time favorite polish shades!

For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, Sweet & Sour Lacquer Gloss Sauce . I purchased the Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues, Sweet & Sour Lacquer gifted me their Gloss Sauce.

I do use artificial lighting for my photos. I get the most done at night, so I swatch a lot at night. My current setup uses GlamCor Pro LIghts and I use the Ultra X Model and this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Alter Ego Body Care Products | My Tall Bearded Iris

Theme: Bearded Irises

Description: My Tall Bearded Iris is a medium, sunflower yellow jelly base with a ton of gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The base is on the sheer side, but the amount of shimmer makes up for the opacity.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Feel The Vibrations

Theme: Ghost Adventurers Series

Description: Feel The Vibrations is a pale dove grey crelly base loaded with strong orange to gold to green shimmer and silver holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

With my lighting – it pulled the shimmer out stronger, and while it is visible, it doesn’t read this warm in person.

Description: I’ve Got Friends… is a black jelly base loaded with fuchsia to purple to pink to gold magnetic pigment and neon lime glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

I only magnetized the middle and ring fingers so you can see the polish both ways.

DRK Nails | Good Ben (Magnetic)

Theme: The Umbrella Academy

Description: Good Ben is a topper but looks really nice alone (as shown here.) This is a clear base with magnetic white micro fleck magnetic pigment, as well as teal to blue shifting pastel flakes. I used 3 thin coats alone for these photos, only the middle 2 nails are magnetized to see it both ways.

Description: Je Suis Prest is a blackened plum jelly based multichrome with a strong purple to gold to green to pink shift, with additional silver holo microflecks. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Lancelot is a medium, slightly taupish grey crelly base with iridescent red to gold to green flakes, and red to gold to green aurora shimmer, as well as pearl white and black micro and small glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Pretty Beautiful Unlimited | Cosmic Glow (Glow In The Dark)

Theme: Cosmic Bowling

Description: Cosmic Glow is a medium purple jelly base loaded with pink to copper shifting shimmer, as well as pink to gold shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This polish also glows in the dark. To get the effect – it does need UV light (artificial or natural sunlight) to “charge” in order to glow. I used a UV Flashlight for my GITD photo.

This polish is also a few clicks darker in person.

I really enjoyed all the grey polishes – but there isn’t a single polish in this set up that I wouldn’t wear.
