It feels like I just did the December 2024 Hella Handmade Creations post… but now it’s time for the January 2025 offerings!
For the January 2025 Hella Handmade Creations shop – I have 18 offerings to share. There weren’t any “special offerings” this month for holidays or anything, so it’s back to normal for now.

For the fine details, I do use Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto which are clear nails. I do not use blurring base coats or anything to increase opacity of the nails – and it shows during my YouTube videos especially. With the clear nails, if you can see through the tip still – then odds are you will also see VNL through the polish I have on. If you cannot see through them, then opacity was likely reached
I work during the day in a medical office, and on weekends I enjoy day time shenanigans with my son – so most of my swatching is done at night in studio lighting. I also use a fairly basic, older point and shoot camera (Nikon L830)
I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased.. and that’s an affiliate link). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).

Alchemy Lacquers | Ginger Snap
Theme: Alchemy Lacquers continues their ‘Strawberry Shortcake Dolls from the 80’s’ with the sixth polish!
Description: Ginger Snap is a crelly based thermal that shifts from a warm toned purple when cold to candy pink when warm with contrasting red to orange to green shifting shimmer.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Atomic Polish | The Grape Escape
Theme: Atomic Polish continues their ‘Board Game’ series with a polish inspired by The Grape Escape, which was like a more fun version of Mouse Trap but with play dough.
Description: The Grape Escape is a blurple jelly base with red to pink to purple pigment mixed in.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

BCB Lacquers | Cuticle Oil in Soul Memory
Theme:
Description: “Soul Memory” Cuticle Oil has scent notes of: Fresh Mint Leaves, Citrus, Bergamot, Orange Zest, Lily, Jasmine, Eucalyptus, Violet, Woods, Camphor, Cedarwood and Sandalwood. Oil is in a 6mL click pen container with a TWIST off cap.
To my nose – this is a more earthy unisex style scent. I get a lot of the cedarwood, woods, sandalwood notes and some of the citrus and mint. It’s refreshing.

BCB Lacquers | Oh My Glob!
Theme: BCB Lacquers begins a new series inspired by ‘Adventure Time,’ with the first polish inspired by Finn & Jake!
Description: Oh My Glob! is a smokey teal crelly base with strong pink to orange to gold to green shifting shimmer. At 3 coats, the shimmer takes over and the smokey teal base is harder to see.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Canned Peaches and Marmalade
Theme: Bee’s Knees Lacquer continues their ‘Fallout’ series!
Description: Canned Peaches and Marmalade is a grungy champagne jelly base with soft silvery pink to green shifting shimmer.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The official description says it’s a soft silver shimmer, but I saw soft pink to green.

I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I also used a bar magnet for middle and ring nails and velvet magnet for index and pinky.

I used a bar magnet for the middle and ring nails, a velvet magnet for the index and pinky nails, and I left my thumb unmagnetized.
