Happy Monday! I’m super sleepy today and guzzling coffee for a boost and hoping something happens… otherwise I’ll be asleep at my desk soon. I’m kicking the day off with the offerings I was sent for the Hella Handmade Creations February 2020.

I have 8 creations for the February Hella Handmade Creations shop, which is a few more than usual. I’m also earlier posting that usual – so yay me for 2020. It’s actually beginning of tax season and I’m trying to keep up on everything with a planner, calendar and notifications to keep me on track. I have momnesia and dates escape me.. so here’s hoping.

DRK Nails | Time Of Renewal

Theme: Chronicles of Narnia

Description: Time of Renewal is a metallic light pink scattered holographic with red to bronze ultrachrome chameleon flakes, as well as orange to green iridescent flakes, a soft red shimmer and holographic micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Esmaltes Da Kelly | Arthur Fleck

Theme: Joker Movie

Description: Arthur Fleck is an interesting base color. It’s almost a dusty mint meets army green with a crelly formula, loaded wtih holographic silver flakes, as well as black and silver glitters ranging from micro to small. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Pluto

Theme: Planets

Description: Pluto is a deep grey blue base loaded with strong red to orange to gold multichrome shimmer and holographic micro flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

You really can’t see the base color much after the first coat of polish where it’s slightly sheerer and less opaque. As you build up, the shimmer multichrome takes over and it’s barely noticeable that there is a grey blue base.

Great Lakes Lacquer | My Cabbages!!

Theme: Avatar: The Last Airbender

Description: My Cabbages!! is a bright, but slightly muted grass green jelly base with orange to gold to green iridescent flakes, subtle red to green to aqua shimmer, and a light scattered holographic effect. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lollipop Posse Lacquer | Their Own Destruction

Theme: Destruction, of Neil Gaiman’s Endless

Description: Their Own Destruction is a red to fuchsia to gold multichrome with holographic microflakes, linear holographic pigment, and color shift iridescent flakes that flash red, fuchsia, gold and bronze. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Theme: The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

Description: I’m Like Seeing Colors is a bright pink crelly base filled with purple to green aurora shimmer, micro holo flakes, and iridescent flakes that lightly flash all colors in the rainbow. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: I’m Not Doing Anything Else For Men Today is a purple crelly base filled with fuchsia to violet to blue to green crystal chameleon flakes and blue to purple to red to gold ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Description: Nightwish is a deep purple base loaded with red and blue shimmer, as well as a light sprinkling on silver holo shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hella Handmade Creations | February 2020

The assortment of colors is really nice from the smaller selection I received to review. There’s a little bit of everything as far as finishes go, and they range from light and metallic to vampy and shimmery.
