Happy Sunday! We’re looking at the Hella Handmade Creations April 2024 goodies I received!
If you follow me on YouTube – then you saw these goodies in action. If you don’t – the video is below (this was up early on in the sale) with all 28 items I received for April’s shop.
For the fine details – for all photos shown – I used Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues Peel Off Base, and for the glossy photos I did Monarch Lacquer Hi-Def Shine Top coat (sent as PR and I’ve also purchased.. and that’s an affiliate link). For all textured polishes, I did use Glisten & Glow Glitter Grabber (PR) and Monarch Lacquer top coat over it.
For my lighting setup, since I use artificial lighting due to my day job, involves 2 Neatfi XL Lamps from Amazon (affiliate link) as well as this Daylight Company Duo Daylight Lamp (affiliate link).
And lastly – I do use artificial gel nails that I do myself at home. In this post (and video) I am using Apres Gel X Nails in Extra Short Stiletto.

The base almost takes on a greigeish look.

BCB Lacquers | Cuticle Oil Pen “Dragon Scales”
Theme: Dragon
Description: “Dragon Scales” cuticle oil has scent notes of: Mint, Eucalyptus, Spearmint, Mango and a hint of vanilla.
This oil is very mint forward and I love it. You have to really like mint to enjoy it and I find it to be a nice pick me up. I also get that hint of vanilla, but I don’t detect the mango at all.

The sandalwood is very faint and cuts some of the sweetness. It’s a lovely pineapple scent though and nice and fresh.

Red Eyed Lacquer | Tamesies “The Lollipop Guild” (Sponsored)
Theme: The Wizard of Oz.
Description: When I use Tamesies in my hair, I add a few squirts into my hand, rub my palms together and scrunch the product into my damp hair after a shower. I do have long, thick but fine hair, curly hair – so I do require about 4-5 pumps of product for my hair. I avoid the top of my head because my scalp tends to be oily, but the ends dry out and Tamesies has helped a ton, plus is adds a nice scent to my hair. This can also be used on the skin for cuticles, or rougher bits like elbows or knees.
