Annnnd I’m back. Things slowed down a smidge here because I was having some abdominal pain and it wasn’t excruciating, but it was enough that I knew something wasn’t right. It hurt to sit still for periods of time, I was hungry but couldn’t eat much, the bit I did eat… came back up within an hour (sorry TMI there) so … after two weeks I finally saw a doctor and I am the proud owner of… a stomach ulcer. I am on the mend and managing it now. Basically it is my fault – I have chronic back pain that I have been treating with a lot of Tylenol and Aleve over the last 20+ years (I start the day with 3 of each.. and continue as needed) so yeah.
I am doing better and can sit longer to swatch though – so I am hauling butt to catch up. Luckily I was a little ahead before this kicked in, so I’m not too far off at the moment. Today we’re looking at 19 of the Hella Handmade Creations offerings for April 2023!

Description: The April Tamesies scent is Oopsie Daisy! This is described as a blend of sun-kissed apple, wild daisies and fresh pink peonies
This is a really nice floral scent with a touch of apple sweetness. The daisy scent is the strongest for me, but it’s not cloying or overpowering. Very nicely balanced and perfect for Spring.
When I use Tamesies in my hair, I add a few squirts into my hand, rub my palms together and scrunch the product into my damp hair after a shower. I do have long, thick but fine hair, curly hair – so I do require about 4-5 pumps of product for my hair. I avoid the top of my head because my scalp tends to be oily, but the ends dry out and Tamesies has helped a ton, plus is adds a nice scent to my hair.
This also makes a great cuticle oil.
