Hard Candy Candles Black Raspberry and Vanilla Review & Giveaway

Ever see those fun candles online that have jewelry in the candle?  Well I had the opportunity to review one from Hard Candy Candles and I’m extremely happy with it!

I received a Hard Candy Candle in the scent Black Raspberry and Vanilla to review, and let me tell you – even without the jewelry surprise, this candle is amazing.  The scent is absolutely divine and even when the candle wasn’t burning, it lightly scented the room.  When the candle was burning, it was a much stronger scent (obviously) but either way, whatever room you have it in will have the amazing aroma from this candle.

Black Raspberry and Vanilla is a blend of blackberries and raspberries, with middle notes of white floral greenery, and bottom notes of musk and vanilla.  I am so glad I picked this scent.  I cannot say enough good things about it. 

I knew there was jewelry in this sucker which really added to the excitement because I wanted to see what it was.

These candles have 2 different types you can order (as far as jewelry goes).  You can either get random jewelry or real jewelry, which is a little more expensive.  The candle I  received contained real jewelry, and Hard Candy Candles will be giving away a candle to one of my readers that also contains real jewelry.

After about 2 days of burning this candle off and on, I finally got to the jewelry “pouch”.

The jewelry was wrapped in a small plastic pouch and then wrapped well in foil to protect it (and so you didn’t have to go cleaning wax out of the jewelry itself.)

Within the pouch was this ring and a paper that gave the ring info on it.  I received a 2.21ct garnet ring with diamond accents set in a .925 silver band.

The ring is a size 7 and has a SRValue of $75.00

Not too bad, right?  I was definitely happy with it and have a few friends I think would ADORE one of these candles as a gift!
