Guest Post: Waterfall Manicure with The Mani-Logues

Hellooooooo Cosmetic Sanctuary readers!

I am extremely excited to guest post for the blog today! I am a HUGE fan of Cosmetic Sanctuary and it is an honor to be able to write for Lisa while she is away.

It is my year of nail art and finding new designs to play around with. I have always wanted to try the “waterfall” swiping technique, which is extremely simple, and extremely beautiful.

I applied 2 coats of GOSH Holographic Hero as my base color, and topped off with Alter Ego Nail Enamel She Shines! top coat. Using my long striping brush from the cuticle down to mid nail, I alternated the colors of the rainbow (except violet and indigo and went with a more typical purple to substitute) using:

Red- OPI Red Hot Rio

Orange- China Glaze Riveting

Yellow- Zoya Pippa

Green- Zoya Shawn

Blue- SinfulColors Why Not

purple- SinfulColors Tempest

I finished off with Poshe top coat.
