Press Sample for Great Lakes Lacquer You Shall Not Pass

Where did this week go? How is it Sunday already? I have a couple posts to work on today, and first up is Great Lakes Lacquer You Shall Not Pass!

As I mentioned in my last series of posts, HHC changed things up and they are starting a new series. 12 makers are participating in the monthly customs and each brand has a theme they picked for themselves. Great Lakes Lacquer selected Lord Of The Rings as inspiration!

Great Lakes Lacquer’s first polish in this series is based on Bilbo’s going away party. The name is taken from his speech. For her second polish,  we have You Shall Not Pass which is a stunning neutral! I already have June’s shade too – but you have to wait for that!

Great Lakes Lacquer You Shall Not Pass is a taupish grey linear holographic filled with shifting flakes and Aurora shimmer that goes from a copper red to orange to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
