Press Sample of the Great Lakes Lacquer
Glass Resurrected Collection
It’s been an incredibly busy day. I had the day off from work, but it feels like I went to work and ran 1000 errands. In reality, I woke up super early to drop Jacob off at school and then came home and slept until 11:30. Then I got up and did some running around for upcoming posts and getting Jacob’s Halloween stuff.
I actually have several collections to share this weekend, and I’m kicking posts off with the Great Lakes Lacquer Glass Resurrected Collection.
Just a side note, if something looks wonky in my posting – I switched to the new Wordpress style Gutenberg and while I find it a lot easier, I’m still getting used to it. It’s slightly different and I’m still figuring it out a little.
Okay so the Glass Resurrected collection finally releases tomorrow and I’ve been holding my swatches hostage because so much blog stuff was coming at me and basically – I didn’t plan things out well. I took on half of Polish Pickup (which Great Lakes Lacquer has a beautiful polish in as well so don’t miss that) and I bit off a itty bit more than I could chew. Technically this post isn’t late though – so I’m still a little ahead of the game. Just a little though.
Let’s jump into this collection and see the new 5 piece collection!
Great Lake Lacquers | Gift Of Glass
Gift of Glass isn’t actually for sale, but a gift with purchase. It was intended for Polish Con and there are leftovers – so the first 20 full set purchases will receive a free bottle of this one.
Gift Of Glass is a light grey crelly base filled with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer, multichrome pigment, and red to gold to green iridescent flakes and a touch of holographic sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Again – this is a Gift With Purchase to the first 20 individuals who buy the full collection ONLY
Great Lakes Lacquer | Ember Of Glass
Ember Of Glass is a vibrant coral red jelly base with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer, mulitchrome pigment and red to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Great Lakes Lacquer | Sea Of Glass
Sea Of Glass is a deep teal jelly base packed with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer, multichrome pigment and red to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The base is slightly more green tinged in person.
Great Lakes Lacquer | Throne Of Glass
Throne Of Glass is a royal purple jelly base loaded up with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer, multichrome pigment and red to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Great Lakes Lacquer | Shatter That Glass
Shatter That Glass is an ocean blue jelly base packed with blue to purple to green shifting shimmer, multichrome pigment and red to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Great Lakes Lacquer Glass Resurrected Collection
I’m a flake polish fan, so these got my attention. My favorite (of course) is the one you can’t buy – Gift of Glass. So you might want to make sure you are one of the first 20 to buy the full collection in order to get that polish.
I had no application issues. All of the flakes laid flat for me and things worked beautifully
I also want to make sure you know there are leftovers of No Salt, No Worries, so you’ll also be able to grab this Polish Con creation tomorrow. I’ll show it below real quick
Price: $13.00 Each | $50.00 Full Collection
Release Date: September 29th at 12:00 PM EDT
