Who’s ready for more Gilmore Girls goodness from Grace-full Nail Polish? I have the Grace-full Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection!
In May of 2016 I showed you Grace-full Nail Polish Oy With The Poodles Already, which was also inspired by Gilmore Girls. So if you are a Gilmore Girls fan, that’s another collection to check out. This is the second installment that I’ve reviewed.
Grace-full Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection is an 8 piece collection that consists of 4 holographics, a multichrome, an ultrachameleon chrome flake, a microglitter and a glittery jelly.
After each description I will be including Theresa’s inspiration and thoughts behind the polish!
Ready to take a look?
Get A Hooker
The name made me giggle, so I’m kicking it off with this one.
Get A Hooker is a bright pink scattered holographic with hot pink shimmer. The base pink is bright, but no where near a neon shade. It almost leans a little into the fuchsia family. Very pretty. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
A pink polish for Paris?? I know right? Seems like an oxymoron and Paris’s polish started as a teal as it’s apparently the colour for strong women. Don’t get me wrong Paris is strong but there is also a hidden normal woman within. One with the same worries and concerns and self doubt that most of us go through. I chose the pink in the end to represent that side of Paris that is often missed.
Vale Richard
Vale RIchard is a rich, deep red scattered holographic with gold microflecks throughout. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
There is some settling of holo and flakes within this shade, but it didn’t seem to really affect the application itself. I still got a gorgeous holographic look and some glints of gold flecks. However, since Grace-full Nail Polish doesn’t want anyone to be disappointed with sinking elements – this shade will be set at a lower price.
Oh Richard, how sad it was to continue our Gilmore Girl journey without you. An old leather book with gold writing on the cover inspired this polish. Vale is another word for farewell.
I’m The Man
I’m The Man is one of my favorites! This is a black jelly base packed with red and copper flakes as well as iridescent glitters to shift from red to green to gold. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I’m the Man is the song Hep Alien sang in the return movie
Yes, Purple
Yes, Purple is a gorgeous red toned violet jelly base packed with micro glitters in an assortment of pink, puprle, gold and copper. Some glitters are holo while others are straight metallic, so you get some additional glitz. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Is inspired by Lane and especially the time when she dyed her hair purple only to dye it back again because she was afraid of her Mothers reaction.
Ace
Ace is a deep royal blue jelly bse packed with chameleon flakes in blue, purple, pink and turquoise with a scattering of silver holo microglitter. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Logan ‘sigh’ I dislike immensely the whole story line of his affair with Rory but for some reason I’m still team Logan. This polish has a gorgeous rich blue base which screamed Logan at me, filled with colour changing flakies in a jelly so they change colour perfectly represented Logan to me. The name Ace is after the nickname Logan gives Rory
The Subsect
The Subsect is a deep teal holographic with flashes of deep green. The green flashes come through when light hits, you can see it in my macro below. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Jess – Strong, mysterious yet irresistible is what I wanted the Jess polish to reflect. The name is the name of the book Jess wrote.
Dodge Lancer
Dodge Lancer is a light denim blue scattered holographic and a ton of silver holographic flecks mixed in. Sparkle city! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Dean’s polish had to capture one of those moments of young love between Rory and Dean. I decided to use the colour of the Dodge Lancer Dean repaired and restored for Rory
Ooober
Ooober is the multichrome in the collection! This lovely shifts from a burgundy to red to copper to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. I used this polish on it’s own, no base color.
Kirk’s polish had to be a plain yet complex polish. This multichrome is far nicer on the nail and I think suits Kirk to a tee.
Grace-full Nail Polish In Omnia Paratus Collection Overview
I really enjoyed the previous Gilmore Girls inspired collection, but honestly? This one blows it out of the water! There is a nice assortment of colors and finishes within this collection, and aside from the sinking elements in Vale Richard – they were all perfect. Even with the slight sinking elements in Vale Richard though – it’s a stunning red and one of my favorites.
Price: $8.50-$11.50 Each (Vale Richard is 8.50 due to the sinking elements within it)
