Press Sample of the GlitterDaze
RetroStyle Collection
Here we are – the third installment of GlitterDaze for the day. I’ve already posted the Barely There Collection and the Futuristic Collection Part 2, so check those out if you haven’t yet. Next up we have the GlitterDaze RetroStyle Collection.
So the third and final post for GlitterDaze’s June 16th release is a 7 piece collection of retro type creme shades. All of them are more year round shades and are vibrant enough for warmer months, but dusty enough for cooler months.
Let’s jump right in.
Chill Pill
Chill Pill is a peach creme that looks vibrant but leans into the pastel category. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Foxy
Foxy is a marigold orange creme. In person it is more yellow toned. My camera grabbed up the orange and played it up. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
House Plant
House Plant is a dusty teal creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Karma
Karma is a peach leaning medium beige neutral creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Mellow
Mellow is a slightly dusty mustard yellow creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Woodstock
Woodstock is a cool toned, slightly dusty, medium brown creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Velour
Velour is a lighter dusty rose pink creme. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
GlitterDaze RetroStyle Collection
And that completes out GlitterDaze post fest for the day! The cremes had really nice, smooth formulas and really good consistency. I didn’t find any to be too thick or too runny. My favorites are Velour, Mellow and House Plant.
Price: $12.50 Each

Much like the previous 2 collections I posted from GlitterDaze – these released on June 16th so they are available in the shop now.

Hi Lisa, Ooooh, I’m getting late 60’s/early 70’s vibes from these shades. The muted, earth-toned colors, the natural vibe, and those cute names! Didn’t everyone’s mom have a velour sweatsuit in the 70’s, never to be worn outside the house, but just for comfy days in? And we all enjoyed the hobby of caring for houseplants with their macrame hangers (which we’d make ourselves). Mellow, just like Mellow Yellow the song title… Foxy is what we’d call a good-looking person instead of sexy back then… Woodstock, I was only 5 years old at the time, but the music from that era is classic and has not been rivaled since… and Karma, when in popular culture the Beatles and many others were beginning to understand and embrace the concept of Eastern religions and aesthetics. All these are bringing back the memories for me! Thanks for swatching these and I’ll be looking for them to purchase soon.
