Glisten & Glow launched a new collection yesterday, and it’s the Scarlette’s Desert Skies Collection!
The Scarlette’s Desert Skies Collection drew inspiration from Glisten & Glow’s friend and customer Cherie, and her 7 year old granddaughter Scarlette. In January of 2023, Jill created Rainbow Bridge for Polish Pickup and Cherie and Scarlette loved that shade, and asked JIll to create polishes that reflected the whole Arizona sky from each time of day with the same jelly formula and rainbow iridescent flakes as Rainbow Bridge. With their help, inspiration photos and an adorable drawing from Scarlette – the Scarlette’s Desert Skies Collection was born!

For all photos, I used Glisten & Glow QDTC and the final photo in each series shows the polishes matte with Glisten & Glow Matte Top Coat.

Sunrise is a bright sunny yellow jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | High Noon
High Noon is a bright blue jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | Afternoon
Afternoon is a light-medium green jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | Evening
Evening is a vibrant, medium pink jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Sunset is a bright orange leaning coral jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Glisten & Glow | Midnight
Midnight is a bright blurple jelly base with a rainbow of iridescent flakes and a touch of scattered holo. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
The official description for this shade does say purple, but I found it to be either a strongly cool toned purple, or blurple territory on me.
Glisten & Glow | Scarlette’s Desert Skies Collection
My top pick for this set would be Sunset, followed closely by Afternoon. All were beautifully done though and application was flawless. I used 3 thin coats for all of these photos, but 2 nice semi thick coats would work as well.
