It’s almost July 1st… so that means the Girly Bits July 2017 Color Of The Month Duo is almost ready to launch, and I have them to share now!

This month we have 2 sparkly microglittery creations for you! Because June launched late, that duo is still available as well, so if you missed it, it’s not too late. Girly Bits is back on track for July though!

Let’s jump into both shades!

Sand Of A Beach

Sand of a Beach is a champagne/light gold holographic and glitter mix, in a semi sheer base. I used 3 thin coats for these photos, but 2 medium to thick coats would work as well. I used a thick top coat for a smooth finish, but if you don’t have a thicker top coat, you might need to double up on top coat.

Due to the base being fairly sheer, this can also be used in a thin coat over a base color to add some sparkle to another polish, especially with one that a champagne/light gold glitter would compliment (like red!)

Mermaid Of Honour

Mermaid Of Honour is a  bright turquoise  with a gorgeous aqua glow, as well as having heavy pink to purple shifting shimmer, scattered holo and holo micro glitter. For me this leans more into the turquoise territory, but it has an interesting aqua “glow” to it that alters the color a bit depending on the lighting you are in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Girly Bits July 2017 Color Of The Month Duo

The standout shade of this duo for me was definitely Mermaid Of Honour. The sparkle, the shimmer and the glow just make my heart explode. It’s a beautiful creation. Both are well done, but that one made me stop and stare when I unwrapped it. Both had the fabulous Girly Bits formula, and they sparkle a ton!
