I JUST posted the Girly Bits Color of the Month Duo and now I have the Girly Bits Indie Shop Exclusives to share with you!
Girly Bits created 3 shades for the Indie Shop 2016. Unfortunately I cannot attend, but I’m super jealous of all you nail ladies who are able to! 2 of these shades are limited edition, and one is exclusive to the event.
Let’s look at all 3 shades now!
Ooh La La
Ooh La La is a clear base packed with red, violet and silver holographic microglitter, pink shimmer and ultra chrome flakes that shift from red to bronze to purple. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
You can also use just 1 coat of Ooh La La over a base color, you don’t need to layer it up like I did.
I recommend thin coats for this polish to avoid any clumping. While it isn’t that difficult to apply, there are a lot of elements packed into this polish, so really thick coats can cause some bunching.
One Is Never Un Oeuf
One Is Never Un Oeuf is a medium teal jelly based linear holographic with gold and teal shimmer added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
I did not experience any staining with this shade.
Merci
Merci is the exclusive Indie Shop shade that won’t be available elsewhere. Merci is a deep olive green holographic with green and gold shimmer and reflective silver flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Girly Bits Indie Shop Exclusives Overview
Can I just say again how insanely jealous I am? One day I’ll be able to attend this event! All 3 of these shades are beautifully done, but Merci is my favorite. Of course that’s the exclusive, so if you are attending – snap it up. Of the 2 Limited Editions, I like both, but Ooh La La is quite gorgeous and my pick of those.
