Ahhh Summer. A time to show a little more skin! Also the time for me to start getting rid of or minimizing unwanted hair. When I was younger this wasn’t such an issue, I shaved my legs and underarms and went on my way. Now that I’m in my 30’s I require a bit more.
I have PCOS which can cause more hair.. and darker hair. It’s a pain! My arm hair comes in a bit darker, my facial hair does as well. With Jolen I can either bleach it or remove it entirely in just a few easy steps.

Jolen Creme Bleach comes in an original formula as well as a sensitive formula with Aloe Vera, which is ideal for use on sensitive, more delicate skin. I opted for the sensitive formula. Included in the kit is the creme bleach, an accelerator, a mixing bowl and a small spatula.
With any hair bleaching or removal kits, you should really test it on a small patch first. I tested in on a small area on my arm to see if I had any irritation before I worked on larger or harder to hide areas.
With all products.. READ DIRECTIONS! This is so important especially with mixing products because you should always know how much to mix or you can have a bad reaction.
Here we go, arm is prepped and ready.
The directions say to mix one quarter teaspoon Accelerator with one half teaspoon Creme Bleach into the little bowl and mix with the spatula. Then I used the spatula and applied a small amount to a patch of skin
Now we wait 10 minutes.
Once 10 minutes are up, I kind of scraped it off with the spatula then washed the area.
I can see the small patch of skin that is lighter than the rest! I didn’t have irritated skin either, which is a huge plus!
