I have been wearing and using the RAW sunglasses in the style Wasabi and so far I do enjoy them. They are sturdy and lightweight. Filtrate Eyewear’s RAW collection of sunglasses are hand crafted from Cellulose Acetate (plant based , non-petroleum based material that is made from natural cotton and wood fibers) They have a unique organic finish and are limited in the Filtrate Eyewear range.
My only thing with them, and it really is just me, is that these are just a touch too wide for my face, but I do find that to be common for most sunglasses I find. I have an incredibly narrow face apparently (you should see my frustration when shopping for my prescription glasses!)
My sunglasses arrived in a grainy black box, and inside the box I found my new sunglasses, a cleaning cloth and a small cloth bag to store the sunglasses in when not in use.
The Wasabi pair that I selected also had a choice of Blackout frames with Smoke Polarized lenses or Tortoise frames with Bronze lenses. I chose the Tortoise with Bronze lenses.
As I said these sunglasses were very lightweight and they are very comfortable to wear. They did a great job in helping to shield my eyes from the sun as well. Take it from me, sunglasses are VERY important. I actually do have sun damage to my eyes for going so many years NOT wearing anything to protect my eyes, so they are a constant must have for me now!
