I have another special treat for you all tonight! I had the opportunity to swatch for Femme Fatale Cosmetics and this is actually my first experience with them! I’ve heard amazing things about the brand, but everytime I saw a swatch that made my jaw drop (which was often) the color was sold out, and I kept missing restocks :(
I was sent 12 fabulous shades to review for Femme Fatale Cosmetics, so this post is fairly picture heavy – so be warned! This post contains a lovely range of holographics as well as some glitter shades currently in her shop. Make sure you check out the bottom of the post for the places where Femme Fatale Cosmetics are carried for purchasing information.
Lets kick this off with the glitters I was sent, and then we’ll move on to the holographics!
Mercury Rain
Mercury Rain is a clear base filled with fine and medium holographic particles with dot glitters in grey, black and silver in varying sizes. I used 1 coat of Mercury Rain over Glitter Gal She’s Cactus.
Coldwraith
Coldwraith is a deep blue jelly base, with hints of teal holo and flashes of purple. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Chaotic Blaze
Chaotic Blaze was a surprise favorite for me! This is a shade I NEVER reach for because it usually looks awful on me, but not this one! Chaotic Blaze is a a vibrant orange gold shimmering base filled with glitters in different shapes and sizes including gold stars, giant squares, yellow dots, neon hexes and orange glitters. I used 3 thin coats for this photo and this shade glows!
Wickerman Embers
Wickerman Embers is a rich burgundy red jelly base filled with copper, caramel, oranges, magenta and hints of black glitters. I used 3 thin coats for this photo.
Lunar Halo
Lunar Halo is another favorite. Lunar Halo is a shimmering beige base filled with iridescent blue and green shimmers, and accents of silver glitter. I used 3 thin coats for this photo, but it would also layer beautifully over a creme base of a similar color.
Next I’ll be showing you the holographic shades! The first 2 photos will be in my normal lighting and the second set will be the same polish under artificial lighting.
Gravity Lapse
Gravity Lapse is a grey linear holographic with a pink to green shift. I used 2 coats for this photo
Starfall
Starfall is a stunning purple linear holographic with flashes of lilac purple within it. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Ruby Hare
Ruby Hare is an absolutely STUNNING berry linear holographic with a copper flash to it. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Void Shatter
Void Shatter is the ONE polish everyone needs. My hands down favorite of the group. Void Shatter is a black linear holographic with red flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats for these photos.
Maddening Whispers
Maddening Whispers is a deep purple linear holo with a teal to green flash. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Burning Dusk
Burning Dusk is a deep plum linear holographic with a vibrant blue flash. I used 2 coats for this photo.
Ink Of The Sea
Ink Of The Sea is a blurple based holographic with a strong teal flash throughout. I used 2 coats for this photo
Overview
Overall, I am thrilled with this set of polishes! I did need to be careful with a few of the glitters because they really are packed (which I love!) so thin coats are recommended. All of the holographics contain a strong linear holographic and look amazing in most any lighting.
My Top Picks: Void Shatter, Ruby Hare, Lunar Halo, Chaotic Blaze, Starfall and Burning Dusk
Price: Prices range from $10.00 to $12.50
