November 2019 | Good Omens

A round of colds hit our house, so I didn’t get much done at the beginning of this week. I was doing okay, but once Jacob got hit – I was in mommy mode. So, even though it releases today – I finally have the Fandom Flakies Box for November 2019, with a theme of Good Omens!

The November Fandom Flakies Box will feature creations from Bee’s Knees, Night Owl Lacquer, Ribbits Stickits and guest maker Supernatural Lacquer. The theme picked was Good Omens, and each maker took on a different aspect of the series.

Admittedly, I haven’t seen this show yet. I binge watch shows… but I have Netflix. I think I have the Amazon Prime streaming service, I have to double check with Nick. I did get excited once when I saw an article saying ‘Thousands petition Netflix to cancel Good Omens!” thinking “Yay! I can watch it” … only to realize they were petitioning the wrong streaming service.

Way to get my hopes up people.

Anyways, so I don’t know much about this series – one day I will binge it, I’m sure.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | A Tree Full of Monkeys on Nitrous Oxide

A Tree Full Of Monkeys On Nitrous Oxide is a medium dark charcoal grey crelly base with gold to green and red to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The first coat appeared really sheer, but it does build up nicely for an opaque look.

Night Owl Lacquer | We’re On Our Own Side

We’re On Our Own Side is a dusty, cool toned, pale almond crelly base with bright blue glass flecks, and red to gold ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Inspired by the relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale.

Supernatural Lacquer | Sauntered Vaguely Downwards

Funny story – in my foggy sick brain… it took me forever to properly type out ‘Vaguely’ when naming my photo files for this post. Sauntered? Got it. Downwards? No problem. Vaguely? Took me forever and Nick was like “Uhh… maybe you should go lay down.” For some reason my brain just couldn’t process it.

Anyways – Sauntered Vaguely Downwards is a burnt coppery red jelly base loaded with gold to orange to green colorshift flakes, red to orange to gold ultrachrome chameleon flakes and red to orange multichrome shimmer, as well as gold shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ribbits Stickits | Good Omens Waterslide Decals

Ribbits Stickits brings us waterslide decals with Good Omens inspiration! I like that the top half is darker and crisp imagery, while the bottom portion is incredibly vibrant.

Fandom Flakies Box November 2019 | Good Omens

Since joining the swatch team for Fandom Flakies, I’ve actually binge watched almost every “theme” they’ve had (if I hadn’t seen it yet) and I’ve found some great shows that I’d be willing to binge again. This adds another to my list.
