It’s time to look at the Fandom Flakies Box for March 2020, and this month the theme is Adventure Time!

The Fandom Flakies Box for March 2020 has an Adventure Time theme. I know of Adventure Time, I have seen some little mentions of it and memes, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually watched it. My son has (I think) but I personally haven’t. I do know enough to know what characters look like though.

Okay – let’s talk about this box. The Fandom Flakies Box March 2020 Adventure Time theme will feature Bee’s Knees Lacquer, Night Owl Lacquer, and the guest maker is Heather’s Hues! Ribbits Stickits is back this month as well with some cute decal and waterslide add ons.

Let’s get this going! This box will release tomorrow, March 13th.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | The Vampire Queen

The Vampire Queen is inspired by Marceline. This is a dusty, muted teal crelly base with ultrachrome chameleon flakes that shift red to green to silver to gold. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Night Owl Lacquer | What The Lump?

What The Lump is an light-medium orchid purple crelly base with gold crystal flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This is inspired by Lumpy Space Princess.

Heather’s Hues | What The Cabbage?

What The Cabbage? is inspired by Princess Bubblegum. This is a vibrant lavender tinged magenta (cold) to pale baby pink (warm) with pink to blue shifting iridescent shimmer, holographic micro flakes, and rose metallic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The first coat is very sheer looking, but it builds up nicely.

Ribbits Stickits | Decals

Ribbits Stickits brings us waterslide decals, as well as 3 different vinyl decals that can be placed on Helmers or other surfaces. My son already asked if he could have the vinyl decals, so they now belong to him.

Waterslide Decals feature 2 sheets of various Adventure Time logos and characters. They are easy to use, just cut out the image you want to use, trim it down to fit your nail, place in a shallow dish of water (I actually use bottled water lids) wait 10 – 15 seconds, slide image off paper backing and place on nail… then top coat over when you have it in place.

I knew what the theme was for this month, so when they arrived – I was actually a little surprised there was no yellow or blue since those two colors are probably what I associate most when the show is mentioned. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not disappointed in the colors chosen for the box – I’m loving the selection – but I was surprised.
