Happy Wednesday! I have the Fandom Flakies Box for June 2024 to share… and the theme this month is The Mummy!
Recently there were some changes to the box. There is no longer a guest maker. Every box will have only Night Owl Lacquer and Bee’s Knees Lacquer, and Ribbits Stickits bringing in the themed extras. The box will be smaller – and the price will reflect that change.
If you are newer here, let’s go over the Fandom Flakies basics! So basically Fandom Flakies Box has 2 constant makers – Night Owl Lacquer and Bee’s Knees Lacquer. Ribbits Stickits is also a familiar face to the box – bringing fun add ons to the box to really bring the theme to life. Each month the themes range from video games to tv shows to movies. Sometimes others – but those are the most common. Basically anything with a possible “fandom” is fair game in this box.
Every month when the shop opens there are 40 Ready To Ship boxes made. Usually it will be said as “RTS” and that’s what that means. They are ready to go. Once the 40 RTS boxes are gone – they essentially go into preorder. The preordered boxes will ship between 2-4 weeks after the shop closes. They do aim for sooner but as we all know – USPS has a mind of its own and it’s just not always possible.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | I Am A Librarian
I am a Librarian is a mid-toned warm beige crelly base with rose gold metallic flakes, matte black flakes, and a scattering of holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | No Harm Ever Comes from Reading A Book
No Harm Ever Came From Reading a Book is a maroon jelly base filled with pink to gold to green shifting micro flakes shimmer and bronze reflective glitter pigment. I used 3 thin coats, glitter smoothing topper and glossy top coat for these photos.
Ribbits Stickits | Waterslide Decals
These are like temporary tattoos for your nails. I usually cut the image I want off the sheet, set in water for 10-15 seconds, then remove the image from water and place face down on a stamping head. Then I slide the paper backing off leaving just the image on the stamper. Then I stamp the image down onto my nail firmly, lift stamper and then top coat.

Ribbits Stickits | Car Freshener
My car smells so good right now. This is a hanging car freshener and you unscrew the top wooden lid, pop out the plastic stopper, replace the lid and tip upside down for 30 seconds (you’ll see the lid become damp and darken) and then the scent will fill the air.
The June scent is The Wrong Side of the River and it’s a blend of fresh bloomed jasmine and honeysuckle.
I love jasmine. LOVE. And this is a nice smokey jasmine scent with the slightest touch of honey suckle. It’s divine.

These shades are a little warmer for my skintone, but I still enjoy them. The Night Owl Lacquer shade agrees with me a touch more than the BKL does.
