This year is FLYING by (and I know I’ve said it already) but it’s time for the Fandom Flakies Box for July 2024 and the theme this month is Baldur’s Gate 3!
Recently there were some changes to the box. There is no longer a guest maker. Every box will have only Night Owl Lacquer and Bee’s Knees Lacquer, and Ribbits Stickits bringing in the themed extras. The box will be smaller – and the price will reflect that change.
If you are newer here, let’s go over the Fandom Flakies basics! So basically Fandom Flakies Box has 2 constant makers – Night Owl Lacquer and Bee’s Knees Lacquer. Ribbits Stickits is also a familiar face to the box – bringing fun add ons to the box to really bring the theme to life. Each month the themes range from video games to tv shows to movies. Sometimes others – but those are the most common. Basically anything with a possible “fandom” is fair game in this box.
Every month when the shop opens there are 40 Ready To Ship boxes made. Usually it will be said as “RTS” and that’s what that means. They are ready to go. Once the 40 RTS boxes are gone – they essentially go into preorder. The preordered boxes will ship between 2-4 weeks after the shop closes. They do aim for sooner but as we all know – USPS has a mind of its own and it’s just not always possible.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | My Little Love
My Little Love is inspired by Gale and Tara, and it’s a new purple Lion cousin. This is a chocolate brown jelly base with purple to red shifting shimmer and a ton of holo flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Night Owl Lacquer | Baldur’s Brain Rot
Baldur’s Brain Rot is a slightly muted coral crelly base filled with multichrome flakes that shift fuchsia to copper to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ribbits Stickits | Waterslide Decals
These are like temporary tattoos for your nails. I usually cut the image I want off the sheet, set in water for 10-15 seconds, then remove the image from water and place face down on a stamping head. Then I slide the paper backing off leaving just the image on the stamper. Then I stamp the image down onto my nail firmly, lift stamper and then top coat.
There are 2 sheets of decals this month.
Ribbits Stickits | Un-frog-gettable Roll On Perfume
The roll on fragrance is easy to use and apply to pulse points or wherever you want to add it! Just roll it on and enjoy!
The July scent is Mind Flayer Tadpole, and it’s description is: Salty marine tones and ozone blend with bright grapefruit, leafy greens, rose, lavender, and creamy avocado and end with cedar wood and amber.
I quite like the scent and find it to be unique and unisex.
Fandom Flakies Box July 2024 | Baldur’s Gate 3
I really love the BKL this month, but the NOL doesn’t suit my skintone. I love how the flakes pop in it and I adored it in the bottle, but on my nails my skintone went a bit pinkish.
