We’re back again – this time with the Fandom Flakies Box February 2020 and the theme is Fallout!

Total transparency – I am not familiar with Fallout. I’ve heard bits about it, but this is totally new to me. Luckily – you don’t have to know it to love the creations it inspired.

I’m still running just a smidge behind, but still on time for this. Aside from tax season and planning Jacob’s bday party – Nick did a server transfer a couple weeks ago and it’s having some minor issues so he’s still messing with things. Finding a server to handle traffic and photo load (which… there’s a ton in the 8 years I’ve been doing this) isn’t as easy as one would think. We’re working it out though and things should be running smoother very soon.

Okay – let’s talk about this box. The Fandom Flakies Box February 2020 Fallout box will feature Bee’s Knees Lacquer, Night Owl Lacquer, and the guest maker is Ethereal Lacquer! Ribbits Stickits is back this month after a 2 month absence, and I’m glad to see her add on decals back!

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Ghoulified (Thermal)

Ghoulified is a dusty terracotta (cold) to pale golden green (warm) thermal loaded with green shimmer and copper to pink to green ultra chrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

The official description says it’s a red to green thermal, but my eyes view it as more terracotta, so I went that way in my description. With the shimmery overlay – it comes out almost coppery orange on my nails in the cold state.

Night Owl Lacquer | Please Stand By

The name of this polish reminds me of Nichole of Bedlam Beauty. Any time I ask her a question she has to look up the answer to in her own notes… she says “Please stand by” instead of “hold on” or “one sec”… just a side note.

Please Stand By is green tinged off white crelly base with green to gold to bronze ultrachrome chameleon flakes, as well as aqua to green crystal flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Nuka Cola

Ethereal Lacquer is the guest maker, and this is her month of red releases apparently! Nuka Cola is a dark cherry red base with a bright red to orange shifting shimmer and holographic flecks. The shimmer gives it a glowy appearance. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ribbits Stickits | Decals

Ribbits Stickits is back with waterslide decals as well as holo vinyl stickers! All are Fallout themed! These will be available to “add on” to your box, and the waterslide decals will be $7.00 for 2 sheets (shown below) as well as 3 different holographic stickers which feature Vault Boy, Nuka Cola, or Brotherhood of Steel emblem which will be $6.50. I’m not entirely sure if it’s $6.50 each holo sticker or for all 3. I think it’s each.

Another fun box, and even though I’m not familiar with Fallout – the polishes and extras are too fun to pass up.

I had no application issues to mention, and everything was perfection as usual from these brands.
