December 2020 | The Grinch

It’s the final box of 2020 for Fandom Flakies, and we’re going out in true 2020 fashion, however – the box is still incredible! Today we’re going to look at the Fandom Flakies Box for December 2020, themed The Grinch!

So this month is a smaller box, and will consist of just Bee’s Knees Lacquer and Night Owl Lacquer. Usually there is a third maker, but it’s 2020 so things changed and it’s only the 2 creators this month (which is still amazing!)

Ribbits Stickits does have some goodies added to the box as well. The box itself (the duo polish) will be $20 this month, and you can add on Ribbits Stickits creations to the box for an additional charge if you wish to. You can also buy the Ribbits Stickits items individually without the purchase of the box if you want to, either option works fine.

Bee’s Knees Lacquer | Holiday Cheermeister

Holiday Cheermeister is a pale gray crelly base full of holo flakes, as well as green to blue and gold ultrachrome chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This will dry down with a slight texture, depending on application. You might need a second coat of top coat to smooth over.

Night Owl Lacquer | I’m Speaking In Rhyme!

I’m Speaking in Rhyme! is a blurple jelly base with purple holo micro glitter and red to gold to green crystal chameleon flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Dries down with a mild texture, however if you use thicker coats, it might amplify the texture. May need 2 coats of top coat to smooth

Ribbits Stickits | Who Pudding Acetone Additive

I am ridiculously happy to see Acetone Additive in this month’s add on choices since I live for this stuff!

Acetone Additive is a small vial of glycerine, oils and fragrance that not only scents your nail polish remover, but gives it a boost so it’s not so drying on your skin. Shake the vial up to mix the ingredients, and then add half or all of the bottle to your nail polish remover (depending on preference, you may not need the full vial!)

Who Pudding scent has notes of notes of tangerine, peach, lemon drop, cotton candy, and green apple. My nose primarily picks up lemon drop, green apple and cotton candy. It’s fruity, sweet and a bit tart.

This is 18ml and $3.75 to add on.

*side note* If you are a nail art stamper type person, do not use Acetone Additive in the same remover you’ll be cleaning plates with. It will leave a slight residue on the plates which can affect image pickup and stamping in general.

Water slide decals are easy and fun to use. Ever use those water type tattoos when you were younger? Same idea! Cut out the image you want to use, set in a shallow dish with water for about 10-20 seconds, lift, slide the paper back off and place on the nail!

While it’s a smaller box than usual – I’m really liking the mix of goodies. I do really love Ribbits Stickits Vinyl Stickers, but part of me is kind of hoping we see Acetone Additive a little more often in there too!
