Fair Maiden Polish | It’s Christmas You Guys! (Doorbuster!)
It’s Christmas You Guys! is a dark evergreen jelly base loaded with holographic microglitter. This dries with a slight texture, but I was able to smooth it with one coat of top coat. If you use a thin top coat, it might require 2 coats though.
I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fair Maiden Polish | The Nutcracker (Limited Edition)
The Nutcracker is a Limited Edition shade being released. Once it sells out it will not restock again.
The Nutcracker is a bright, medium red linear holographic with orange to gold flakes and shimmer. The base is a creme, so the holo isn’t super strong, but strong enough to know it’s there. It’s noticeable without being flashy. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fair Maiden Polish | The Land Of Snow
The Land Of Snow is a light greige base with champagne shimmer, linear holo and multichrome flakes that shift green to aqua to blue to violet to magenta. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fair Maiden Polish | Clara
Clara is a bright shade that’s a powder blue but almost tips into the mint family. Almost, not quite. It has scattered holographic and purple to pink to green shifting shimmer and multichrome flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fair Maiden Polish | Toy Soldiers
Toy Soldiers is a gorgeous auburn base that shifts to deep berry with strong red to gold shifting shimmer and holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade has some texture and you might need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.
Fair Maiden Polish | Sugar Plum Fairy
Sugar Plum Fairy is a pinky plum based multichrome that shifts fuchsia to a bronzey gold. It’s also packed with holo microglitters and iridescent glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade has a mild texture, so 2 coats of top coat is recommended.
Fair Maiden Polish | The Mouse King
The Mouse King is a deep blue based violet with shimmer that shifts magenta to golden green. It also has holographic micro glitters and iridescent flakes that shift green to aqua to violet. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Two things to note with this shade:
- You will probably need a second coat of top coat for a smooth finish
- It has a TON of flakes in it. While I didn’t find an issue with application, if you aren’t prepared for it in this polish – it could cause problems. I recommend wiping the brush a bit to remove excess before applying so you get a nice, even layer.
Fair Maiden Polish The Nutcracker Collection
Another stunning collection from Fair Maiden Polish! Several of these shades have microglitters in them, so I did add notes of which will or might need an extra coat of top coat for a smooth finish. Only 1 had slightly tricky application, and that was The Mouse King due to the flake content. Otherwise – no application issues!
