I’m almost ashamed to admit I haven’t used an eyelash curler in years! The last one I used was just horrible and felt like it was about to fall apart while I was clamping down on my lashes. I gave the Eye & Mighty Eyelash Curler by Bella & Bear a try, and I may just have to use it regularly now.
The design of the eyelash curler was really nice. The handle was similar to the design of cutting shears in a salon which made them comfortable to hold. It felt incredibly sturdy as well, so when I was clamping down on the lashes, it didn’t feel like it might give out.
Here’s the part I’m not use to. The pad on eyelash curlers generally need to be replaced regularly but not on this pair. The pad is meant to last the lifetime of the curler if cared for properly. I know years ago the one I had needed to be changed a lot and sometimes finding replacement pads was a pain (this was before the internet was used like it is now).
The pad feels like a thick rubber and the eyelashes don’t slip at all when clamping down.
Ready for some before and after pictures? I did this without showing the use of mascara because mascara generally helps curl my lashes a lot. I have semi long lashes that curl easily with the assistance of mascara.
Before:
Nothing much to notice. I have lashes… but they are just there.
During
Had to get the action shot!
After
See the curl? Noticeable difference! This is in one try with no mascara.
If you want nice day lashes, clamp down with the eyelash curler for 10 seconds, then add 1 coat of mascara. For more dramatic lashes, add 2 coats of mascara. Pretty easy!
Very excited about my new eyelash curler and Bella and Bear definitely made this right! They are so confident in their product, they also offer a 100% Lifetime Money Back Guarantee. Not a lot of companies offer that.
Price: $17.99
