Press Samples of the Ethereal Lacquer
Wedding Collection
Happy Tuesday! The three day weekend threw me off and I thought it was Monday all morning. Today we’re going to be looking at the Ethereal Lacquer Wedding Collection!
The Ethereal Lacquer Wedding Collection is a 5 piece collection and it’s inspired by Ethereal Lacquer’s upcoming October wedding! The wedding will be moody with a dark garden theme. These polish names are inspired by songs, flowers and readings from their ceremony too!
These will be available for preorder starting September 17th at 6pm Eastern, but they will not be on the Ethereal Lacquer site! This is a collab collection – and Matterhorn Oils will have some custom fragrances inspired by other elements of their wedding – and the sale will be on the Matterhorn Oils site.
Let’s jump in and take a closer look.
Ethereal Lacquer | Anemone
Anemone is a blackberry base with deep pink to red to orange shimmer and silver holographic micro flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade was just a smidge on the thicker side, but not to a point I would say you need thinner for it. It self leveled nicely and only required 2 coats and I got great coverage with it. However, if you prefer thinner consistencies – then thinner may be needed for you.
This polish was inspired by the arrangements chosen, which are beautiful blooms of Meagan’s favorites which are the Anemone de Caen Bordeaux.
Ethereal Lacquer | Buried Light
Buried Light is a black to red multichrome in a semi sheer black jelly base with silver holographic flakes ranging from micro flecks to small flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This polish was based on a reading chosen for their ceremony which will be read be Meagan’s mother.
Ethereal Lacquer | Clair de Lune
Clair de Lune is a sheer smokey grey jelly base with pink to orange shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is one of those shades that relies on the strong shimmer to give the illusion of opacity. However – there is still VNL visible so I would recommend a blurring base coat or even a smokey grey crelly base to hide the VNL more if you don’t like it showing. This can double as a topper if you wish for it to.
This polish is inspired by the song Meagan will be walking down the aisle to, and the song is beautiful and ethereal.
Ethereal Lacquer | Prosecco
Prosecco is a jelly based taupe linear holographic with a nice coppery flame, as well as subtle copper to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is inspired by the bubbly and delicious drinks served at their toasts.
Ethereal Lacquer | Young and Beautiful
Young and Beautiful is a pale wisteria pinkish purple tinted jelly base packed with silver holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Inspired by the recessional song which will be played by harp. The song has such beauty and depth that they had to make it part of their big day.
Ethereal Lacquer | Wedding Collection
I love that the colors overall aren’t what you traditionally see for wedding collections. I also cannot wait to see what scents Matterhorn Oils does for this collab either!
