I have another post for you tonight – and we’re going to look at the Ethereal Lacquer Light Magic Collection which is set to release on November 15th!

This is the lighter side of the Dark Magic collection released in September! The Ethereal Lacquer Light Magic Collection is a 6 piece collection full of shimmer and a touch of holo and flakes. There’s also a creme shade and a topper.

I am still working with the new lights I received from Glamcor and trying them out. I was testing out my black holo background with them, and I’m swapping back to silver. My skin looked off to me – and it’s the backdrop. The polishes themselves are actually really accurate to my eye though – so, that works.

One thing I want to note: While I am showing these in the square bottles, they will be round bottles once orders go out. The shape is changing – so you will receive the new round shaped bottles.

Ethereal Lacquer | Karma

This creme… I cannot say enough good things about it!

Karma is a borderline pastel baby blue leaning periwinkle creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. For the type of shade it is, it’s not chalky or streaky and 2 coats to perfection.

Ethereal Lacquer | Lightcast

Lightcast is a topper, but I’m showing it alone as well as over Karma.

Lightcast is a bright lime to purple pastel shimmery multichrome topper in a super sheer raspberry base. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat on it’s own, and only 1 coat over Karma.

Ethereal Lacquer | New Moon

New Moon is a bright ocean blue with both linear and scattered holographic shimmer, as well as red to copper to green shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Feather

Feather is a slightly sheer, pale grey crelly with scattered holo pigment, red to copper iridescent flakes, green iridescent flakes and copper shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Diffuse

Diffuse is a medium, warm toned orchid pinkish purple with copper to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Chakra

Chakra is a pale, icy blue crelly loaded with aqua to purple shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Light Magic Collection

This is a beautiful collection and reminds me a bit of Winter and a bit of Spring. The shimmery shades have that stunning glow with the shimmers used and it’s incredible.

I had no application issues to mention, and my top picks are: Karma, Chakra and Feather.
