Moving right along with releases – next up I have the Ethereal Lacquer Dark Magic Collection to share. This is another I had to quickly reswatch after losing over 70 sets of photos, so to make myself feel better – I’m gonna say the second set looks better than the first I did.

The Ethereal Lacquer Dark Magic Collection consists of 7 shades. Two are cremes, 2 are toppers and the remaining shades are shimmers, holos or a mix of both.

These all release tonight at 9PM EST, so we’re going to jump in. The purchasing window will be open until October 1st.

Ethereal Lacquer | Crimson

Crimson is a warm, bright, cherry red creme. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Elixir

Elixir is my favorite of the collection. This is a dark eggplant purple loaded with silver holographic flecks and copper to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Petals

Petals is a plum purple crelly base packed with red to green color shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Spellcast

Spellcast is a dusty raisin creme base with red to green shifting shimmer. It’s a touch lighter in person. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Spellbook

Spellbook is an interesting creme. This is a purple tinged, dusty deep taupe creme. Weird description, I know – but it’s the best way to describe it. In the bottle I thought it would be dark brown, but in some light it looks deep dusty purple, but there’s taupe there too in other lighting. Very unique shade.

I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Ceromancy

Ceromancy is a sheer grey tinted base with a ton of colorshifting flakes that flash red, copper, gold and green. There’s also a sprinkling of red to green shimmer loaded in there. I used 1 coat of Ceromancy over Spellbook – and I honestly love this combo.

Ethereal Lacquer | Cauldron Bauble

Cauldron Bauble is a limited edition shade for Halloween! The Halloween edition of Ethereal’s best selling topper. Cauldron Bauble is a charcoal tinted base with copper to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 1 coat over Spellbook for these photos.

Ethereal Lacquer | Dark Magic Collection

Okay so my favorite polish this collection is Elixir. HOWEVER. I would highly recommend grabbing Spellbook. It’s a stunning creme and I can see myself using it a TON this Fall. It’s deep, vampy and intriguing.

I had no application issues at all. Both cremes applied super smooth and the shimmers and toppers are just perfection.
