Ready for some new Emily de Molly shades? I hope so, because today I have the Emily de Molly January 2017 releases to share with you!

This release has 6 shades being brought into the core collection.

Let’s take a look!

Vertical Control

Vertical Control is a bright blue linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

While I didn’t have any issues with staining, the maker of Emily de Molly did, so be sure to use a good base coat just in case.

Blackmail Milestone

Blackmail Milestone is a deep green jelly base with blue shimmer and red to green shifting iridescent glitter in variou sizes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

End Points

End Points is a gorgeous cool toned purple base with golden olive shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Because of the heavy amount of shimmer, minor brushstrokes are visible.

Geode Mine

Geode Mine is my favorite of the 6! Geode Mine is a light brown linear holographic with blue multichrome flakes and copper microglitter. The holo effect is nice and strong on this one! I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Bonus Round

Bonus Round is a bright royal blue jelly filled with ultra holographic silver microglitters. I used 2 coats and a thick coat of top coat for a smooth finish. The finish on it’s own isn’t super textured, but if you use thinner top coat, you might want to double up for a super smooth, squishy finish.

A Pink Acquisition

A Pink Acquisition is a bright pink leaning coral with blue to purple shifting shimmer. This has a foil type finish (similar to Empty Journal)

I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

This shade is a little more pink in person.

Emily de Molly January 2017 Releases Overview

Another beautiful set added to the Emily de Molly family! My top picks are definitely Geode Mine, Vertical Control and Bonus Round, but all 6 are nicely created. Once again there is a nice assortment of shades and finishes to choose from. I had no application issues with any of these.
