I have one more post tonight! Cause when you are short on time and running around, the best thing to do is type up a blog post. Everything usually just falls into place… right? At any rate – I have the Emily de Molly February 2018 Releases to share now!
Tonight we have some shimmers, some holographics and 2 thermals to take a look at! These release tomorrow, so I might be a little last minute, but I’m still on time!
Let’s jump right in!
Art of Structure
Art of Structure is a honeycomb orangish yellow holographic with silver micro glitters mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Change of Pace
Change of Pace is a pale baby pink base with strong violet shimmer, as well as copper flecks, orange micro glitters and silver micro glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Embellished Response
Embellished Response is a bright fuchsia pink with gold shimmer and gold flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Jaded Visions
Jaded Visions is the first of two new thermals we’ll be looking at tonight. Jaded Visions is a dark teal blue when cold and shifts to a light teal green when warm. It also has copper shimmer and green to blue to purple iridescent flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. Depending on how thick your coats are, you might need 2 coats of top coat to smooth over all the flakes.
Linked Irony
Linked Irony is one of my favorites from this set. This is a super silver linear holographic with gold ot pink to green iridescent flakes and black micro glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Little Whispers
Little Whispers is a slightly dusty lighter purple crelly base with gold to green shifting shimmer and silver holo microglitters added in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Modern Muse
Modern Muse is the second thermal in the set. I really love this one, but it didn’t want to completely photograph correctly for me. It’s a bit pinker and bolder in person.
Modern Muse is a pink leaning red when cold to pale pink when warm. It also contains turquoise shimmer and blue chrome flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Ruined Cities
The final shade tonight is Ruined Cities. This is a red toned plum creme base with green to pink shifting shimmer, copper micro glitter and gold flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly February 2018 Releases
This collection is really well done, and I love that all the shades are so different from each other. From the actual base color to the elements involved, they all have their own thing and nothing really ties them together, so there seems to be a little for everyone.
