Happy Saturday again! I actually started this post on Thursday… so most of the remaining is typed up on a Thursday. It’s cooled down to mid 80’s today.
It’s hot as hell here right now, so I’m a sweaty mess and trying to keep plugging along. This entire summer we’ve had temps from low 80’s to mid 90’s mostly (I think 3 days hit 100-102?) but yesterday and today were 106-107 and… I am not coping well. We don’t have normal air conditioning here and the little room units we have aren’t working as well as we’d like. Ugh. But, in the spirit of plugging along, I have the Emily de Molly August 2019 Releases to share, which I thankfully did BEFORE the hot spell.
Emily de Molly’s August 2019 Release brings us 8 new shades in a variety of finishes. I had 2 standouts that tied for first… and then a couple more that took 2nd and 3rd. We’ll go over those at the bottom of the post!
These release Monday the 19th at 10am AEST on the Australian site and Sunday the 18th at 8PM EDT on the Internations & US site!

Emily de Molly | Fame and Decadence
Fame and Decadence is a deep steel grey linear holographic with strong copper to gold to green multichrome shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | Half Orange
If you can only buy ONE polish from this launch… this should be it. It’s a MILLION times more gorgeous in person. Half Orange is a deep violet jelly base with orange to pink to gold to green iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | Say The Word
Say The Word is a vibrant green jelly base loaded with green to blue to purple aurora large particle pigment (almost looks like micro flecks.) I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | Tenfold
Tenfold is a murky moss green jelly base loaded with copper to gold to green large particle aurora pigment (again, like microfleck sized) with silver holographic micro glitters mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | The Missing
The Missing is a dusty steel blue jelly base with orange to gold to green shifting iridescent flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | The Puzzle
The Puzzle is a pale duck egg blue creme base with copper to gold to green multichrome micro flecks mixed in. Most of the flecks are rather small, but there are a couple medium sized ones floating in there. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | Undeterred
Undeterred is a vibrant, cool toned purple metallic flake polish in a purple base. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Emily de Molly | Where You Stand
Where You Stand is a green to mauve to magenta shifting foil shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

So many pretties this month! My hands down favorite is Half Orange, but it is followed closely by Tenfold then The Missing.
I had no application issues with any of the shades, they all applied like a dream!
