Happy Sunday! It’s been a crazy few days, but I’m back on again with the Emily de Molly April 2023 Release – and this set launched on .. I believe Thursday. So it’s available to purchase now!
Okay so… I work on an iMac computer doohickey. All of my stuff is Apple primarily for ease of airdropping projects from my phone to my macbook to my ipad to my desktop. It saves me time. However… I like bright and colorful while Nick prefers sleek and modern. My side of the office has a colorful rug, colorful wall art, a colorful desk mat… it’s bright. Nick’s is all neutral or black and silver.
I don’t particularly care for the iMac keyboard, I like a little lift on my keyboard and it’s a very low profile deal – and I finally found a fun, colorful keyboard with the Mac command keys. I will admit it looks like a kids toy – but that’s part of the joy I find in it. (This is the keyboard for reference – affiliate link – and I did get it in colorful purple) and another part of my joy in this was waiting for Nick to spot it and his commentary. He and I speak our minds to each other – we joke and can say what we really think without being cruel and we’re open. It’s been almost 14 years together – that’s just why we work. Cause on paper we are complete opposites and shouldn’t work – but we do. So he walks by … spots this keyboard and says “What in the Fisher Price hell is that thing??” I think he thought it was some April Fool’s thing – but no, I’m keeping this Fisher Price knockoff and I am loving it, much to his horror.
Anyways – that’s my joy. Also my warning that I am getting used to a new keyboard so yay typos.

Emily de Molly has 5 reflectives that released for April and they all have some stunning shimmer as well. I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – but it is mine so I was happy to see them.
For the finer details, I did use Vapid Lacquer Commitment Issues as the peel off base for all of these photos, which is purchased by me but I do admin for the brand. Then with all photos I used Vapid Lacquer Smooth AF glitter smoother, which was sent as PR previously, as well as Bee’s Knees Lacquer I’m Fast. I’m Very Fast. Quick Dry Top Coat – which was purchased by me but I do review for the brand.

Reflective glitters and shifting shimmer are just.. stunning to me. I especially like it in the more neutral shades like More Like Me.

Absolutely adorable keyboard, which colour scheme did you get??
As for these polishes, I love It Calls Me Back, More Like Me, and The Limits!

We only have one computer in the office – so when my husband said he wanted to get a new one, I figured go for it and let him have free reign (it’s his 9-5 after all). The resulting computer has color changing lights and small video screens inside the glass walled CPU. The keyboard makes loud clackity sounds and lights up with every stroke. Then he installed shifting LED lights behind the large wall mounted monitor (really it’s a TV). I hate it. He is delighted. I only use it to pay bills and track our budget – so I figured whatever. He doesn’t seem to care if I spent a couple hundred dollars on polish in the last few months.
