Press Sample of the Don Deeva
July 2019 Releases
Hello again! I’m trying to roll out several posts over the next few days now that things have calmed down a bit around here! Tonight I have the Don Deeva July 2019 Releases to share with you!
These shades released on July 12th initially (I know, I’m behind!) but they showed up about 2 days before the release and it was right at the tail end of Jacob’s dental visits for his root canal stuff. Then the PPU storm hit, and back to school shopping… but I do have them now. They’re still available… and it’s still July – so it’s not that bad.
Ready to take a look? I’m about to show you 4 crellies, 4 shimmery fleck sheer shades that coordinate with the crellies and a cold reactive thermal.
Let’s get to it.
Don Deeva | Horitos
Horitos is a cold reactive thermal. Unfortunately for me, it’s July and we’ve been mid 90’s to low 100’s for a bit, so I saw the cold state, but it’s so reactive it transitioned entirely too fast for me to capture. If you view the listing – OhSoSimpleNails did capture it and you can see it there.
Horitos is a pale baby pink crelly base loaded with unicorn pee and iridescent sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. In it’s cold reactive state, it turns a beautiful fuchsia leaning red.
Don Deeva | Hey Gurl Grey, Hey
Hey Gurl Grey, Hey is dusty medium blue with subtle silvery white speckles. This is a custom blended pigment so there is a light and dark speckled look. You may notice my bottle has streaks in it, this was a blogger batch that wasn’t stained as well as Don Deeva would have liked, and the purchasing batch shouldn’t have that. I did not experience any streaking on the nail, it was only the bottle. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Don Deeva | Berries & McFlurries
Berries & McFlurries is a soft, sheer tealish baby blue jelly base with opal shifty flakes that flash copper, gold, green and blue, as well as holo flakes and aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats for these photos. It would pair beautifully with Hey Gurl Grey, Hey.
Don Deeva | Key Lime Lies
Key Lime Lies is a medium pistachio green crelly that’s custom blended. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Don Deeva | So Matcha Love
So Matcha Love is a lime green jelly base loaded with opal shifty flakes that flash gold, green, copper and blue, as well as holo flakes and aurora. Would pair beautifully with Key Lime Lies, but it has enough opacity to layer 3 times on it’s own, as shown in my photos.
Don Deeva | Peachy Meen
Peachy Meen is a custom blended muted, medium peachy orange crelly. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Don Deeva | Resting Peach Face
Resting Peach Face is a peach jelly base loaded with shifty opal flakes that flash pink, blue and green, as well as holo flakes and aurora shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. It pairs nicely with Peachy Meen.
Don Deeva | Queen of Tarts
Queen of Tarts is a custom mix of pigments to created a dusty rose crelly. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Don Deeva | Buns & Roses
Buns & Roses is a lavender leaning pink jelly base loaded with aurora shimmer, holo flakes and opal flakes that flash shades of pink, blue and green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos. This pairs beautifully with Queen of Tarts.
Don Deeva | July 2019 Releases
I love that the sheer shades pair with the crellies for those who aren’t into a sheerer look. While they are crellies, the opacity matches a creme, but with the distinct jelly squishiness.
My top picks are Key Lime Lies, So Matcha Love, Berries & McFlurries and Queen of Tarts.
These are all still available, so you can grab them now!
