Good morning! We’ve got a lot of things coming to the blog this weekend. Next week starts the Back To School insanity, so I don’t know how much time I’ll have for posts next week. I actually have today off work because I wanted to spend the final Friday of Summer vacation with my little lovebug before he starts 7th grade. We’re going to be seeing The Meg this afternoon and then we’ll be heading to either the bowling alley or ghost golf. Ghost golf is an indoor mini golf place with “scary” stuff popping out at you (it’s really not that scary, but Jacob jumps easily so .. it’s kind of hilarious)
This morning I have some of the Don Deeva August 2018 Releases to share.
In the Don Deeva August 2018 Releases we have 2 Don Deeva Group customs, 1 exclusive charity polish and 4 new releases.
All of these shades launch today and there is a limit of 2 for each polish max.
Let’s jump right in. I’ll mention in each description whether it’s a group custom, charity polish or new release to the line.
Nudie Judie
Nudie Judie is the first group custom! This is a soft, slightly dusty peachy rose crelly base with heavy green gold shimmer, as well as ultrachrome chameleon flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Stillet-Ho
Stillet-Ho is the second group custom! This is a sheer, pinky lavender jelly base with loads of iridescent shifting flakes, shimmer and holo flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Since it is on the sheerer side, you can layer it over other cremes or jellies to create combinations.
It’s Easy As ABC
It’s Easy As ABC is the exclusive charity polish in the lineup!
It’s Easy As ABC is a faded blue jean linear holographic with holo flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Danette has made a gorgeous holographic polish named It’s Easy As ABC (Alex Beats Cancer). This loaded with holo and holo flake LE polish, will be available in the shop on Aug. 10, and the proceeds will go to Alex Alenikov.
Your Vagesty
Your Vagesty is a plum to copper to gold to green to pink multichrome magnetic polish, plus it has some unicorn pee thrown in for good measure. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
First set of photos shows this as a non magnetized polish, then I show it magnetized. I used a standard bar magnet and used the corner of the magnet for the effect I got.
Jersey Girl After Dark
Jersey Girl After Dark is a black jelly base loaded with silver holographic microglitter. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
If you use a thinner top coat, you may need 2 coats for a completely smooth finish.
Cereal Killer
Cereal Killer is a blurple jelly base with copper to gold to green ultrachrome chameleon flakes, aurora pigment and it glows green in the dark! I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Fifty Shades Of Deeva
The final shade for this release is the first “delicate chrome” to release. This is a medium pewter base with pink and gold chrome shift and a linear holographic effect. The base is metallic without having the super strong metallic look. It applies more like a jelly with opacity.
I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

There we have it, the 7 new polishes gracing the Don Deeva shop today! It’s a nice variety of finishes that allows for a little of everything. My personal favorites are Nudie Judie, It’s Easy As ABC, Fifty Shades of Deeva and Cereal Killer.
