I had been hoping to have this post up this morning, but I ran into work about 10 minutes early so I didn’t have enough time. Now it’s lunch time and I’m all set to post! Here is the Different Dimension Winter 2017 Collection!
In addition to the Different Dimension Winter 2017 Collection, I’ll also be showing a limited edition polish at the bottom of this post that is not part of the collection, but will be releasing about the same time.
Let’s take a look!
Stars Shining Bright
Stars Shining Bright is a metallic gold linear holographic with a pink shift that gives it an almost coppery appearance. It’s also packed with holographic microglitters for a lot of sparkle. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Never Forget Where You Came From
Never Forget Where You Came From is a red leaning violet linear holographic with glowing pink ‘unicorn’ type shimmer flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Cold As Ice
Cold As Ice is a linear holographic topper with glowing pink ‘unicorn’ type shimmer flecks. I did 2 sets of photos for this one. I decided to layer it on it’s own (and by ‘decided to’ I actually mean I hadn’t read the description and thought it was a sheer, angelic like polish) which took 4 thin coats for medium opacity. I also did 1 coat of Cold As Ice over a black creme.
And now Cold As Ice over a black creme!
Grace
Grace is a garnet chrome like base with a slight multichrome shift that shows orange and copper. It also has gold holographic microglitters and ultra chrome flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Grace was named after Missi’s niece!
Olivia
Olivia is a slightly dusty baby blue creme based linear holographic with glowing pink ‘unicorn’ shimmer flecks and silver holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade was also named after one of Missi’s nieces!
Alexandria
Alexandria is a medium kelly green creme based linear holographic with glowing pink ‘unicorn’ shimmer flecks and holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Alexandria was named after Missi’s step-daughter.
2018
2018 is a silver and black holographic microglitter mixture in a sheer holographic tinted base. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a ‘thirsty’ microglitter so you may need 2 coats of top coat for a smooth finish.
That was all 7 shades in the Winter 2017 collection – so now we’re going to look at the Limited Edition shade!
Indianapolish
Indianapolish is a medium violet linear holographic with color shifting flakes and glowing copper “unicorn” shimmer flecks. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Indianapolish was created for the 1st Indianapolis meetup that took place on 10/14/2017. This shade will be limited edition!
Different Dimension Winter 2017 Collection Overview
This is a really nice collection for year round. Instead of the typical holiday greens and reds, Missi took a different approach with it.
Most of these descriptions include “glowing pink unicorn shimmer flecks” and it’s hard to tell with the various base colors what exactly they are. In Cold As Ice over black though, they appear to be small flecks that are almost iridescent link with predominantly pink coloring, but show other colors as well. Definitely a pretty addition to tie most of these colors together.
I had no application issues with any of these polishes.

So much sparkly goodness! I especially love Indianapolish, 2018, and Never Forget Where You Came From.
That purple is stunning.
I love those purples but it’s Olivia and Cold As Ice that I’d want in my collection. What stunners these all are.
