I have a multichrome filled post for you this morning! I got up early to finish up these photos to be able to get this post up (so excuse any typos… I’m sleepy!), so here is the DIFFERENT dimension Extragalactic Collection!
The DIFFERENT dimension Extragalactic Collection is a 14 piece collection consisting of 6 straight multichrome shades, 6 flaked out multichrome holographic shades and 2 holographic glitter toppers.
These will open up for preorder on March 1st for 72 hours. Preorders will receive $1 off each polish in the collection. Normal collection launch will be March 10th!
This is photo heavy, so let’s get started!
Utopia
Utopia is a multichrome polish that shifts from green to blue to purple to red. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.
Meteor
Meteor is a multichrome polish that shifts from purple to pink to red to copper. I used 3 thin coats and a top coat for these photos.
Neutrino
Neutrino is a multichrome that shifts from cyan to blue to purple to copper. I used 3 thin coats and a top coat for these photos.
Fireball
Fireball is a multichrome polish that shifts from brick red to coppery orange to gold. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.
Nirvana
Nirvana is a multichrome polish that shifts from purple to red to orange to gold. I used 2 coats and a top coat for these photos.
Nova
Nova is a multichrome polish that shifts from gold to copper to green. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Next we have the “flaked out” versions of the multichromes! The flakes all lay flat and are actually quite smooth, so no need for additional top coat to smooth it out.
Celestial
Celestial is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from green to blue to purple to red and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Supernatural
Supernatural is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from cyan to blue to purple to copper and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Morning Star
Morning Star is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from purple to pink to red to copper and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and top coat for these photos.
Unearthly
Unearthly is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from brick red to copper to gold and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Equinox
Equinox is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from purple to red to orange to gold and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Martian
Martian is a unique multichrome polish that shifts from gold to copper to green and back again with holographic microflakies added. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Counting Stars
Counting Stars is a holographic galaxy glitter topper. It has silver holo dots, moons and stars as well as microglitter. i used 1 coat over Neutrino for these photos.
Interstellar
Interstellar is our holographic microflakies topcoat. It’s the same microflakes in 6 of the polishes shown above, but created to top over any polish! I used 1 coat over Utopia and a glossy top coat.
DIFFERENT dimension Extragalactic Collection
Holy moly, that was a lot!
Ok so my thoughts – everything was gorgeous and shifty. The straight multichromes had some visible brushstrokes (chromes tend to) but shifted easily and beautifully. The flaked out versions are incredible and sparkly and I like that they aren’t traditional linear or scattered holos which can dull the shift. The flakes don’t seem to dull it much, if at all.
One thing I liked, is that while this is a giant 14 piece collection, if you are on a budget you can grab the 6 straight multichromes and Interstellar and get a similar effect to the 6 flaked out chromes,
Price: $10 for Glitter Toppers | $12 for Multichromes | $13 for Flaked Out Multichromes
Preorder Date: March 1st at 9am EST (save $1 per bottle during presale) for 72 hours
Launch Date: March 10th, 2017

Ok that was a lot! I was up really late last night and got up at 5:30 this morning to get this done, so again – excuse any typos!
Hope you enjoyed, and I’d love to hear if you’ll be grabbing any in the comments below!

Gorgeous! I really want Martian, Morning Star and Utopia, I also need that top coat, I see it over a black creme for my go-to pedi!
Those are fab picks Tanya!!
I firmly believe his is the year of the multichrome and I love it!! Great swatches!!
Agreed! I have a ton of multichromes and would like them to keep coming!
Oh, lord have mercy! This is an insane review and you killed it!!
Do you have Big Chrome Cock Goblin, can you tell me how it compares to Interstellar? They look similar but the particles appear larger in Interstellar (which would, of course, mean that I have to have it!). Thanks in advance!
I do still have BCCG – so when I get a free minute after work tonight I’ll take a look! At first glance, the DD is more densely packed and slightly larger flecks than the DDP. I’ll let you know later though ;)
Thanks Lisa, you rock!
Wow, the flaked out versions are GORGEOUS! I think I need them all haha!
I love this collection. I wish the multichromes wren’t so streaky so if I get any it will be the flakie versions.
Dang, these are incredibly stunning! Different Dimensions recently became available through a Canadian stockist and am quite pleased about that!
What a stunning collection…want them all:)
These look so incredible! I can’t decide if I like them better with or without the holo flakes, both versions are stunning!
I’m torn between Fireball and Nirvana as my favourite. I think these are my favourite swatches you’ve ever done!
Bonsoir, peut on commander les vernis multichromes? ils sont magnifiques.
