Ready for more? I have another upcoming release on the blog tonight and it’s the Different Dimension Do You Believe In Magic? Collection!

Like I mentioned in the last post – there is a LOT coming at us in early July. A LOT. It’s actually kind of crazy, but in a good way. We have collections and a lot of collabs. Luckily most makers have sent early enough that it isn’t such a rush to swatch, but with my son being a social butterfly, I’m starting to scramble for post times in between his activities. I thought I had these sorted and then realized I don’t.

Story of my life I know.

My son’s best friend moved to Rocklin, CA a year ago, but they still visit each other a lot. We usually meet up halfway and exchange minions so they still see each other on a fairly regular basis. I thought I had a full 4-5 nights of posting ready to go up to July 1st only to find out they are having a mega sleepover (4 nights)  at his friends house and I will be dropping him off after work tomorrow (it’s like 4 hours round trip minimum…) so I won’t be home tomorrow night to post anything. On the bright side… first long road trip in my new car.

Anyways, that’s not what you came here to hear. I go into mini panic modes when curveballs are thrown, but my son is spoiled and really if he wants to go see his friend a couple hours away on a work night – I’ll do that for him. I will still panic though.

Okay so Different Dimension has the Do You Believe In Magic Collection and it’s an incredible assortment of polishes. We have a thermal, 2 magnetics, some shimmers, a holo and … just a lot of gorgeousness going on.

Let’s jump right into it now that I’ve been babbling.

Presto Chango (Thermal)

Presto Chango is a thermal that transitions from cool toned purple while cold to a dusty medium blue while warm and is packed with unicorn shimmer and holographic microglitters. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Also, for the first time in a long time, I was too warm to be swatching a thermal. Usually I’m too cold, but it was 104 when I did this polish… and I was half in the freezer trying to cool off my hand enough to photograph this in it’s cold state.

Abracadabra (Magnetic)

Abracadabra is a magnetic multichrome! Abracadabra is a blackened base with a pink to copper to gold magnetic multichrome shimmer pull with holographic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Alakazam (Magnetic)

Alakazam is a blackened base with purple to blue to green magnetic multichrome shimmer pull with added holographic microflakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Hocus Pocus

Hocus Pocus is a berry pink linear holographic with additional shimmer mixed in. The holo takes over, so it’s actually hard for me to identify what the shimmer color is since the holo is so intense. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Now You See Me

Now You See Me is a minty blue linear holographic creme with red to gold to green shifting unicorn shimmer added. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Lumos

Lumos is a deepened wine red base packed with ired to gold to green unicorn shimmers mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Illusion

Illusion is a light orchid purple crelly base with unicorn shimmer that shifts red to gold to green. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Voila

Voila is a vibrant baby blue crelly base with unicorn type shimmers that shift from red to gold to green mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Different Dimension Do You Believe In Magic? Collection

Just for clarification: Unicorn Type Shimmer is Aurora Shimmer.

As a whole – this collection is incredible. All the colors are right in the line of what I usually gravitate to and I love that there is a thermal and magnetics in the mix. I love the vampy shades and the mint, blue and purples available. Definitely my style.

I had no application issues with any of these shades and they were beautifully done. The only one that may require 2 coats of top coat is the thermal, and that’s due to the amazingly immense amount of holo microglitters involved.

There will also be new cuticle oil scents! Different Dimension will have Strawberry Shortcake, Tea & Cakes, Juicy Fruit, Angel Food Cake, Pistachio Pudding Cake, Teaberry, Buttermint.
