Press Sample of Delush Polish
Knights Of Thrones Collection
Happy Tuesday! I’m still playing catchup, so this is another collection that released a few days ago. I am hoping to be fully caught up by this coming weekend (as long as I don’t have any more curve balls thrown at me) and back to posting ahead of time. I have 3 posts coming at you today, and the first one is the Delush Polish Knights Of Thrones Collection!
This collection was inspired by the men of Game of Thrones. This is almost a follow up to last years Dames of Thrones collection by Delush Polish, which was inspired by the ladies of GoT!
Let’s take a closer look at each shade!
Lord of Envy
Lord of Envy is a rich emerald green linear holographic with copper and silver holo flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Master of Wine
Master of Wines is a plum base with blue to green shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Now, I already know you see the bumps on my nails, and it’s a weird body chemistry thing with this one polish. I tried this one 3 times, and each time I got tiny bubbles – no matter how thin or thick I did the coats, bubbles. I had 2 friends try it on and they didn’t have the bubbles. I tried with and without top coat on myself – but I kept getting little bubbles. So only thing I can honestly come up with is that this polish didn’t like me because it worked on 2 other people just fine.
So no, the bubbles aren’t part of the polish (like flakes or curled glitter) it’s something with my body chemistry and this particular shade.
King Of The Watch
King Of The Watch is a cobalt blue linear holographic with color shifting green to blue shimmer and holo flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Gentle Lion
Gentle Lion is a medium dusty mauve creme with copper color shifting flakes mixed in. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Warden of Darkness
Warden of Darkness is a black linear holographic with violet to teal color shifting shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Poisoned Wine
This is the Fall shade I’ve been waiting for – a vampy, shimmery red! Poisoned Wine is a blackened vampy red with gold shimmer throughout which gives it a glowy look. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Kingslayer
Kingslayer is a dusty olive green jelly base with gold shimmer, as well as copper and gold holo glitters. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Also, now looking at these photos, I honestly think I missed a third coat on my middle nail. Whoops! Sorry!
Clash Of The Seas
And last up we have Clash Of The Seas! This is a deep navy jelly base with green and aqua dot and hex holo glitters mixed in. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Delush Polish Knights Of Thrones Collection Overview
As far as Fall goes – this is a well rounded fall themed collection. I think the only thing really “missing” would be a nice orange, but I still can’t complain about this color palette!
I enjoyed all of the shades in this collection, and as I said earlier, the only one that gave me trouble was Master of Wine, and that seemed to be more of a body chemistry thing with me than anything since it applied perfectly fine for others. Weird, but it happens! It’s a shame because it’s really lovely!
If you love Game of Thrones and missed the ladies collection, make sure you take a look at the Delush Polish Dames of Thrones collection from last Fall! Those are still stocked in the Delush Polish shop, so you can pick any up that catch your eye!

How do you manage to change your polish so often and do it perfectly every time? It is a gift, or at least an amazing talent! I think this is a great winter collection. I am salivating over Poisoned Wine and Kingslayer – I went them both
This is such a stunning collection! Those richly saturated colors are perfect for the winter/holidays!
Such a pretty collection. I like Polished Wine a lot and I’ve been meaning to buy a black with shimmer in it too.
What gorgeous close ups of this polish collection! I really like the deep berry types of shades for fall and winter.
Kingslayer is so beautiful I am totally digging that swampy green.
I really like Master of Wine! The contrasting shimmer is gorgeous!
Like I, said regardless of the polish you feature, your swatches make them look good
Master of Wine is an AR-mazing shade! Too bad about the bubbles. Kingslayer is also gorgeous.
Well, Master of Wine is awesome for the name haha!
Pretty collection! I had some Vapid polishes bubble like that on me. :( I wasn’t sure what was going on. I guess it is a body chemistry thing.
