Press Sample of Darling Diva Polish
Deadpool Collection Part 2 Even Deader
Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY! This week was slammed so I’m kind of happy to see it coming to a close. This collection is the first of 3 I have to show you today! This is the Darling Diva Polish Deadpool Collection Part 2 – Even Deader!
My boyfriend and I finally settled in and watched this movie about a month ago, and I giggled like a 12 year old the whole time. I do think at one point Nick actually looked at me and said “What are you, 12?”
Yes, sometimes I am.
So when Carrie of Darling Diva Polish asked if I wanted to review this collection, I quickly replied “Yes, yes I do”
I usually refrain from language on my blog. I actually have quite the potty mouth in person, so I feel like I do need to let you know that some of these names contain some language. If you’ve seen Deadpool, then you should expect it. If you haven’t seen it, then please know that there is some language ahead and if you aren’t ok with it, this may not be the post for you.
Half of this collection is a “one pour” which means it will basically be poured once, and once sold out – that’s it. All gone. The other half will be added to the core collection, so they will stick around longer. I’ll make note in each description of which ones are one pour, so if you are pacing yourself with buying, you know which you should grab now, and which ones can wait until next payday.
WHAM!!!
WHAM!!! is a deep purple jelly base filled with holographic flake sparkle. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is a one pour shade.
Testicle With Teeth
Testicle With Teeth is a seriously stunning medium blue with holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is a one pour shade.
Fat Gandolf
Fat Gandolf is a green to turquoise to purple shifting polish with holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade will be a core color for a bit
Negasonic Teenage… What The Shit?
Negasonic Teenage… What The Shit? is a black jelly base full of color shifting flakes in a wide range of colors, as well as holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This is a one pour shade.
Ajaxxed
Ajaxxed is a green leaning teal jelly base packed with holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is a one pour shade.
Right Up Main Street
Ok so this was the line in the movie that I started giggling and couldn’t stop. I was so happy to see it used in this collection.
Right Up Main Street is a gorgeous red jelly base with holographic flakes. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
This shade is a one pour shade.
Oh Yeah, I’m Touching Myself Tonight
Oh Yeah, I’m Touching Myself Tonight is a cyan to purple shifting polish with holographic flakes. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Maximum Effort
Maximum Effort is a red to gold color shifting polish with holographic flakes. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
British Shit Stick
British Shit Stick is a deep blue to purple to red shifting polish with holographic flakes. I used 3 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Big Chrome Cock Goblin
Big Chrome Cock Goblin is a holographic flake topper. Basically, if you liked the holo flakes in all of the polishes in this collection – here it is to put over any polish you want! I used 1 coat over Flower Garden from the Darling Diva Polish Sidewalk Chalk collection (which I bought and it’s worth every penny)
Darling Diva Polish Deadpool Collection Part 2 Even Deader
This collection is gorgeous. I love the use of holo flakes and the serious depth they add to the jelly polishes especially. The colors are incredibly rich and vivid as well. Obviously I get that some of the names might be a little much for some people, but you really can’t have a “Deadpool” collection without names like these. I bought Part 1 of this collection when it first released (It’s still available in the DDP shop if you want to look, I haven’t had time to photograph mine yet!) but that was before I saw the movie. Now the names make more sense to me and they are beautifully done.
All of the multichrome shades shown here are by themselves. They can be layered over a black base to deepen them if you wish to, but I did them on their own. The first coat is EXTREMELY sheer, but don’t worry, it will build up. Aside from those – application was really nice with all 10 shades.
In case you skimmed it, half of this collection is ‘One Pour’ and won’t be around long. Those shades are: Right Up Main Street, Ajaxxed, WHAM!!!, Negasonic Teenage… What the Shit?, and Testicle With Teeth.
All 4 multichrome shades and the topper will be in the shop for a little bit.
Price: $9.00-$11.50 Each | $95.00 Full Collection

I didn’t see Deadpool – out of the target audience – but love this collection & the names are a hoot
The names are amazing! THe collection is so well done
My heart was literally pounding when I saw your jelly holo flake macros, and I don’t think it was just the tea I’ve been drinking!
I took the pictures and I’m still staring at them! I absolutely LOVE the flakes she used and the depth the jelly base and flakes creates?! Ugh – love
WHAM is absolute purple perfection!
I’m not used to wearing holo flakes. I’d buy one but I don’t think I’d buy more than one. I would be torn between the purple and blue.
Oh Yeah, I’m Touching Myself Tonight and British Shit Stick are my kinds of colors.
Maximum Effort is AMAZING! I just saw it the other day, and it was funny at parts! :) #hugemarvelfan
Love all the names lol! Wham is such a gorgeous polish.
All of them are so pretty but I like Right Up Main Street the best!
hahaha yep, the name definitely fit! :)
The colors are all so pretty! I think I’d just invest in the topper though so I could use it with any of the colors in my existing collection.
I haven’t seen Deadpool yet, so I’m kind of lost on the names, but the shades are incredible! I really like Fat Gandolf
