Sooo I had dates mixed up and thought these release this coming Monday – but no… they released last Monday. Little late – but not horribly. Sorry! Tonight I have the Cupcake Polish Rain Trio to share!

I own a LOT of Cupcake Polish creations dating back YEARS – and this set might be my favorite. I love her holos, but dammmmmn… I love a good shimmer and none of these disappoint.

As I mentioned, I had the release date wrong – so these are all available on the Cupcake Polish site now!

Let’s get into it.

Cupcake Polish | La Lluvia

La Lluvia is a purple jelly base packed with orange to gold to green shifting aurora iridescent shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish | Cloudburst

Cloudburst is a blue jelly base loaded with orange to gold to green shifting aurora iridescent shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish | Mist

Mist is a teal green jelly base loaded with orange to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Cupcake Polish | Rain Trio

One thing to note with all 3 of these shades would be that the bases are sheer. All 3 pretty much rely on the shimmer packed in to create the illusion of opacity. I could see a hint of my nail line through them at 3 coats so if you have a stronger VNL, it’s possible you’ll still see it. They are stunning though.
