Happy Saturday! My days are a little messed up since I had yesterday off. It feels like Sunday even though I know it’s not! I have a few posts lined up today, but I’m kicking the weekend off with the Cupcake Polish Mod About You Collection!

This collection will be releasing on July 8th, so we’ve got a week to wait. The Cupcake Polish Mod About You Collection is themed around one of Sara’s favorite decades and the subcultcure it created, so it’s a Mod 60’s collection!

As usual, this is a 6 piece collection with stunning holographic shades.

Gettin’ Twiggy With It

I am in love with this holo! It’s super strong and kind of in your face – especially in the sunlight.

Gettin’ Twiggy With It is a gunmetal grey linear holographic. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Fringe Benefits

Fringe Benefits is a medium royal blue linear holographic. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Look At You Go-Go

Look At You Go-Go is a pale dove grey linear holographic. In brighter lighting it almost takes on a white or pearly appearance. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Mod Squad

Mod Squad of course jumped up as a favorite! This is a royal purple linear holographic and it has a beautiful reddish flame to it that elevates the color just a bit more. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.

Suitor On A Scooter

Suitor On A Scooter is a medium turquoisish blue. It’s described as a medium blue linear holographic, but there are touches of green to it that make it more in the turquoise territory without actually being turquoise. But it’s not a straight blue to me either.

Actually the more I look at it, I want to say it’s a bold, deep aqua with a blue flame to it.

2 coats and a glossy top coat for this one.

Crazy Mod Love

I saved my personal favorite for last! Crazy Mod Love is a red leaning berry pink linear holographic. The base on this one is more jelly like, so it required 3 thin coats for me.

Cupcake Polish Mod About You Collection

I am loving the color selection for this collection and the strong holo most of these possess. They applied really nicely and really pop! They are also colors to wear year round rather than “seasonally appropriate”
