It’s been super busy around here but I’m actually enjoying all the hustle and bustle! We have lots of Polish Con posts going on as well as releases over the next couple of days. Next on the list is Cirque Colors Kawaii Collection!
First off, if you are in New York City on the 28th, check out the Cirque Colors Pop Up Shop you can find all info on that by clicking the Cirque Colors name.
Second, I know there has been a lot of chatter about the Cirque Colors rebranding, and you can see the new bottles here. A few things have changed, most notably the look. While I loved the look of the old bottles, it is what it is and I’m more about the polish than the bottle look. Also changing is the pricing, each 11ml bottle will be $14.00 now. The polishes are also all unscented now. Previously they had a lavender or clary sage essential oil added to the formula and that’s gone.
I get why people might be upset about the changes, but it’s Annie’s brand and her decision to make the changes.
Now that the changes are out of the way, we’ll move onto the new collection. This is a 10 piece collection and for each set of photos I used Cirque Colors base and top coat, which retail for $12.00 each.
Let’s take a look.
24K Affair
24K Affair is a gold foil finish holographic with sparkling sterling silver pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
There is holo in this one, but the foil/metallic look overshadowed it for my photos. It is more apparent in person.
Crystal Tokyo
Crystal Tokyo is the only topper in the collection and is a limited edition shade. This is a sheer pink tinted topper with an assortment of rainbow iridescent glitters as well as silver holographic microglitters mixed in. I used 1 coat over a black creme for these photos.
Happy Monday
Happy Monday is also Limited Edition. This is a violet linear holographic with strong teal shimmer throughout. I used 2 easy coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Killer Kitsch
Killer Kitsch is a deep hot pink with pink shimmer and a scattered holo effect. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Lolly Lips
Lolly Lips is another Limited Edition shade. This is a bright raspberry pink jelly base with silver holographic flakes mixed in. I used 3 thin coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Memedom
Memedom is yet another Limited Edition shade! This is a soft turquoise blue holographic with gold shimmer. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
QT Kitty
QT Kitty is Limited Edition as well. This one is a deep violet jelly base with silver holographic flakes. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Shiny
Shiny is a silver foil holographic shade made with sterling silver pigment. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Star Child
Star Child is also Limited Edition. This is a shimmer teal jelly base with opal and holographic glitters. It can be worn alone or other colors. I wore it alone for these photos.
Vaporwave
Last up we have Vaporwave! Vaporwave is a cornflower blue creme scattered holographic with pink shimmer throughout. I used 2 coats and a glossy top coat for these photos.
Cirque Colors Kawaii Collection Overview
Overall, it’s a nice assortment of colors with a few different finishes going on. The only color that wasn’t really my taste was Star Child. I didn’t layer it, so maybe I’ll try that and see if it grows on me.
Most of this collection is limited edition, so to recap, the following are Limited Edition shades: Crystal Tokyo, Happy Monday, Lolly Lips, Memedom, QT Kitty and Star Child.
Non Limited Edition Shades are: 24k Affair, Shiny, Killer Kitsch and Vaporwave.
Price: $14.00 Each for Kawaii Collection Shades | $12.00 Each for Base and Top Coat

Like a lot of others, I’m not a fan of the rebrand, but these polishes look gorgeous and that’s the most important part! I especially like Memedom and QT Kitty.
