If you aren’t a huge fan of glitter, then today’s post is just for you!
Chrome Girl is a new brand for me and I have several cremes within this post to show you.
Take a look!
Shmexy
Shmexy is a jade creme shade. Very pretty and my favorite in the set! I used 2 coats for this photo. I would recommend using a 2 coats of basecoat for this one. I got a little bit of staining from it.

2gether Forevs
2gether Forevs is a vibrant medium lilac creme. I used 2 coats for this photo. This one borders on being a crelly, but not quite.

Bed Head Blue
Bed Head Blue is a true blue creme. I would also recommend 2 coats of basecoat for this one. The staining wasn’t too bad, but it was still there a little.

Birthday Suit
Birthday Suit is an incredibly sheer pale pink. I used 4 coats for full opacity.

Empowered Flower
Empowered Flower is one of 2 metallics I have to show you! This is a gold metallic and was very close to full opacity at just 1 coat, but I used 2 for this photo. Very few brush strokes are visible.

Heartbreaker
Heartbreaker is a classic red/orange creme. Another formula that borders on being a crelly. I used 3 coats for this photo.

Party Star
Party Star is a micro glitter holographic top coat. Create a scattered holo effect to any polish! I used 1 coat of Party Star over Shmexy.

Pillow Talk
Pillow Talk is a bubblegum pink creme. I used 3 coats for this photo. Coats 1 and 2 came across a little streaky, but coat 3 evened it out.

Poetic Potion
Poetic Potion is another favorite! This is a bronze metallic shimmer. Almost a 1 coater, but I used 2 coats this photo.

Worth The Wait
Worth The Wait is a vampy deep burgundy jelly! I LOVE this shade! I used 3 coats for this photo.

Top Coat
With all the swatches seen here I used Chrome Girl Top Coat to finish the mani’s off. While most of them had a gorgeous natural gloss finish, this helped amp it up a bit more! Dry time was really good, I would say less than 5 minutes total. It isn’t a super thick top coat but it isn’t watery either. Doesn’t have a harsh smell like Seche Vite does.
Matte Top Coat
Chrome Girl also has a matte top coat which I loved! It doesn’t matte super fast, so you have time to even it all out, but it has very few brush strokes and gives a nice, even, matte finish!
Base Coat
Like the top coat, I used Chrome Girl Base Coat with all of these photos too. There isn’t really a good way to show off a swatch of a base coat though, so here are my thoughts. It dried fairly quick and left a smooth, clear surface to work with.
While some of these colors aren’t super unique, the quality was pretty good! The lighter shades like Pillow Talk and Birthday Suit applied streaky at first, but definitely even out.
My Top Picks: Shmexy, Party Star, Worth The Wait, Matte Top Coat and Poetic Potion
Price: Between $10 and $12.50 for each 14 ml bottle
Where to Buy: The Llarowe Website
Have you tried Chrome Girl? What’s your favorite shade?
